- DISCLAIMER: I realized immediately after this that the harmonies sounded shorter the second time I listened because when I went back, I didn't go back far enough LOL. I went back to the middle of the harmonies. So... my bad. It's exactly the same I'm just an idiot. LOL.
I couldn't love this song more. I'm so overwhelmingly happy that Taylor owns this now. She did an amazing job, as she did with all the others I've heard so far! Hopefully this song gets more credit/attention this time around! What are your opinions??

Wait! You haven't heard this until now?? Oh I'm so happy you have it now!! This song was so crushing to hear, when you put it together at the end that it's her birthday party and he stood her up 💔💔💔 but even that aside, it's an INCREDIBLE song. I love how the slow motion parts really feel like slow motion.

You aren’t alone in thinking that it was her birthday party bathroom that was referenced in All too Well. I thought the EXACT SAME THING. & if it was Anne Hathaway who was the actress asking, she could of been invited because she & Jake were doing the movie together at the time.
Also has to be said you reminded me at the end of 1989 extras… the one she sent for ‘I know places’. At the end she ALSO says now I’m just making weird sounds. 😊

Ya I know that specific birthday party was very public (with plenty of other famous friends and people there) so that totally makes sense to me! That's why I think in the short film the scene at the fancy party is supposed to be the public birthday and then the next scene is just her family one. I don't know. I don't know how she wanted it translated into the film narrative but WE'RE RIGHT. lol.
