It takes so much patience to simply sit & receive braids - it must take some intense spiritual & mental stamina to actually do the work yourself - this seems like it should be some kind of rite of passage ritual.
The last time I did micros this small on myself it literally took me an entire week working 12 hours a day braiding. Then I ended up taking them out after two weeks SMH
I have some major respect for the people who wear these hairstyles. I love learning how incredible different cultures are. You don’t realize how much work people put into these styles until seeing the process. Thank you for sharing.
You guys are really annoying about the takedown. As long as it’s not YOU who is doing it then who cares. Just say she did a bomb job 😍 because she did and that’s it.
These are beautiful. They remind me of the micro braids I had back in HS. I left them in my head for 3 months thinking I could be like some of the other girls at my school. Boy was I wrong. When I finally took them out, I lost a huge ball of hair, and one of the braids near my edges couldn't hold on anymore, so it ripped out from the root. I won't do that again!

I used to wear my hair like this faithfully. If I did this style now, I would definatatly have to be snowed in. All in all, I love this style.
