Yeah, I remember last year I when I was preparing for my delivery, I sat down and braided my hair but I ended up cutting my whole hair after delivery along with the braids because I wanted to go natural. My hair has grown enough for another braid and my baby is doing well.

I love your hair, you did a great job! I used to wear my braids exactly like this back in the day and also dipped them to get a wave. If you had of kept the plants in until the next day, the braids would have a deeper wave pattern. Thanks for sharing.

You don't have to box braid all the time, just randomly braiding all scalp is covered
I actually do mine like this every time. I think the square ones make the head less full of braids
This style is old school, when I was 7 and my mom was hairdressing in our living room, I used to help her out finish the ends and she would part the hair like this cause it’s more fuller

I wanna give you MAD PROPS for how patient you are! 😭 I can’t even sit in a chair to get my hair done for longer than 2 hours and I’m not pregnant. My sister did my braids like this when I was pregnant 2 years ago and you have to be careful with that hot water! Loved them wavy! Then I wanted them curlier 4 days later, so we used those Jerry curl rollers to make them even curlier by rolling the braids up with the rollers and then putting my braids in a deep bucket of hot water! Those curls were popping after we took out the rollers! Loved them! 🤗

Im still watching 😂 Just a little tip...instead of using your teeth when you get to the bottom, throw the braid across to the other side of your head 😉 Way easier!
I just braided my hair and this method is one I’ve never seen and are interested in utilizing!!!! It’s like a two strand you turn into three on the scalp ... they came out nice ... and the directions you gave your husband when parting your hair was also a neat way to explain... do you have a brading tutorial... bc you should!!

this style reminds me of those wet and wavy micro braids we used to wear. i could definitely rock this style. As a small note: you can always dip your braiding hair in apple cider vinegar or regular white vinegar to take the smell and chemicals out which cause that scalp irritation. When i do that my styles last a lot longer and no irritation 😉
