I always braid my hair this small but haven’t done it In over a year . I’m doing mine tonight with some color for the first time. When I wear my hair like this , I retain so much length and moisture and my hair naturally grows a lot but this keeps it longer . I leave mine in for a year and take out braids and do then individually when I get new growth . By the time I take them out fully, I have 7 inches of growth .

@@jlovesj3335 no . They don’t lock because I redo them with the same hair when it had enough new growth that it’s visible .

You did a beautiful job! I'm also a leftie. I still can't do the 3 strand. I cut off my dreadlocks of almost 5 yrs and it took me 4 days to braid, lol🤪but it's the best style for me after locs. You are definitely a perfectionist! But I love it!❤️✌️

I did my hair like this and currently still in the style. I love it and get a lot of compliments, it took me a week to do because I work and go to school but unfortunately my scalp flare up is crazy weird to where I find myself shampooing it frequently.
