LemiPromoteMyArt New Year's Resolutions... 1. I want to get better at either digitally painting or traditional watercolor realism. Good enough that I can make really impressive book covers. I also want to repaint parts of the first book cover I ever painted, because it looks like a first attempt. 2. I want to work on a few more big group shots this year. For a long time, I found shots with lots of characters intimidating, and I have to get over that if I want to be a better artist. 3. I'm trying to figure out what medium I color fastest in. I've been experimenting with watercolor, Arteza brush pens, and digital coloring. I'm trying to get more art done in the same amount of time, so identifying what I'm fastest with would help me with that. I love coloring with Copics... but it takes me forever because I'm always switching markers. Five colors just for the skin? Sure! And then there's the endless blending... I love it, but I could be more efficient. 4. I'm trying to ink less. I'd like to start adding ink accents to pieces instead of outlining everything. If I color correctly and efficiently, I shouldn't need to ink everything... I hope. Again, I'm hoping cutting out a stage will speed up my artwork. But there are certain things, like book illustrations, that I have to ink for print quality reasons. 5. And finally, I want to get a book out again. It's been four years, and I'm not beating myself up too hard because two of those years without publishing were due to my awesome little son, so that's worth it. However, I'm getting back into the swing of things and I think I can make enough happen for a January 2020 release. This isn't a resolution, I'm gonna wait to commit to see how the year is shaping up. But I would like to do some Mermay this year, although I'm planning to do at least an hour of drawing every day in Mermay, not necessarily 30 pieces. I've come to the conclusion that trying to do 30 pieces in month-long art challenges just leads to half the drawings either a) looking good but I'm picking stuff that's too easy to draw or b) just looking bad. As for my style... it's somewhere between American comic book style and an animation style. Maybe like the old 80s Marvel Studios cartoons? (Dungeons & Dragons, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, G.I. Joe, Jem and the Holograms, etc.) I do dip into realism and manga every once in a while, too. I've a great love for both of those, but they aren't my "house style." Also, your YTAC Art looks very cool! She looks like a new character for Dark Shadows. (One of my fave soap operas. Correction: The only soap opera I've ever liked, and it was awesome!) I especially like the shading on her nose and under her eyes. That probably sounds weird, but details like that really stand out to me and make a piece look neat. I wanted to participate in this one, even started a piece with three characters in it, but my co-writer husband said he'd rather see character B and C reversed, so that screwed up up my timing for the deadline, and I didn't want to rush through it. That's what I get for trying to double-duty something for a book illustration. (Although it did work for the last YTAC, so it's not always a fail.) I put out a cheap art supply challenge instead; totally not the same.

As well as that I have alot of art goals for this year but something I wanna work on is a series on colored pencils coz I love them so much and color pencil art doesn't have variety in the animu/cartoonish field so I feel like ppl don't gravitate towards it. Being active in the community is something I really struggle with too 😱 I always feel like I'm missing some sort of way in, even though I know that's not how the internet works. But it's definitely a good thing to focus on trying to improve! I hope it goes well for you!!

LemiPromoteMyArt My main art goal for this year was to finally acquire the art style that I want. I've been struggling finding the exact art style that I want for guys specifically. I kinda have the style that I want in my mind but I tend to slightly move away from it. I do have a drawings that is in the direction of my goal but there's just times that I just don't like the style. The reason why I'm so eager to do this because I don't think that I have that specific art style, seems like my drawings tend to look different from each drawing~ Just in case you're wondering, the style that I prefer for my drawings was a animeish semi realistic one! I would love to draw characters that would resemble the I actual person that I'm drawing. Like if I do a fanart of someone, it can be recognizable who it is but still in my own art style and not a realistic features. I'm confused as well but I just hope to finally be happy to my own art style~! Aannndd! Hope you guys have any tips for that! :] Plus guys~! I'm doing an everyday doodle thingy which is really really tiny, around 1 inch by 1.5 inch. It was really fun to do and I can sketch everyday so i'm adding that up for my art goals for this year! For this year I will keep drawing almost every day, after finishing last year the 365 draw challenge. Also, I want to try and draw at least once a month digitally. I've been seeing very similar things going around on Instagram these past few weeks to help artist of all sizes and it's honestly amazing. I guess my biggest goal is to step outside my comfort zone with my art. Like drawing different things is really important to me this year and continuing to improve on my art. Another thing I'm wanting to focus on is posting a video on my youtube channel about once a week, if not one then every two weeks. I'm NissaIllustrations on all platforms.
I definitely need to work on my shading, lighting, and coloring techniques. Most of my time practicing art when I was young, I never colored or added much detail so I’ve fallen behind with that skill. My lining and anatomy has improved significantly since last year in my opinion so at least I’m making progress. 😅

My resolution is to do more traditional, non-computer art since almost every piece of art I've made in the last two years were 3D models. I'm specifically looking at learning to watercolor properly because I love how it looks and it's fun, but I also want to try other mediums too. So far I've tried out linocut print making and found that I really enjoy it.

In all honesty my art resolution is to just draw/paint/create more. I had a baby last year so my art came to almost an abrupt halt, so my focus became more on taking care of her. However this year I want to be more vigilant about creating more art and really trying to grow and evolve my style. Let me start off by saying this is such a cool idea! I will definitely be looking through the comments and finding some art friends. I started looking at art in a more serious way recently, as I can't find and hold down a "normal" job anymore due to some personal stuffs. This year I hope to go to some conventions to sell it (so far I missed one already. Didn't get picked for a table) and I also hope to get better at backgrounds and composition. Maybe even start a channel of my own on here! I already have a short video recorded, but I'm pretty scared of actually following through. Right now, I have some specific plans in mind this year. I started a Griffin series a while back, and I'd like to finish it this year. I also created some interesting forest spirit beasties late last year, and I'd like to do one of those a month in semi-realistic style with a full background. And lastly, I want to play around with colors and so I created a hue challenge for myself with all the fancy color groups. I'm starting with monochromatic pieces in the 6 basic rainbow colors. I'm thinking of doing dragons the whole way through, but that may change as I love all beasts equally. I already have one piece completed (video recorded and all) and another in the works! I would actually love for other artists to participate in this challenge using whatever medium and themes they want! I just haven't quite come up with a challenge name yet, but when I do I'll create a hashtag in hopes that some will participate with me so I can see all the wonderful and colorful art! I don't really have a New Year's resolution but my current goal for digital art is to reach a certain level. I created digital piece while using an art filter, which made it felt realistic. The filter is no more so I'm trying to manufacturer the same look by hand.

My resolution for this year was to try and draw whenever I could. I even started an Insta account (crafty_evilham if anyone's interested) so I could share my artwork with others. It's been so much fun drawing again. Leading up to, during and for a couple of years after my pregnancy I didn't draw at all and had absolutely no desire/time to draw. So after watching some CZcams artists I became super inspired and actually wanted to draw and even started using watercolours and copic markers

If you want to do a voice over it is absolutely okay to do that also with your phone :) I think most of them already have even video editing programs and if not you can record your voice and also put it into the video editor on your computer just as your filming ;)
LemiPromoteMyArt It’s so cool that you’re wanting to learn about other artists’ goals and this video actually made me feel a little more confident in pursing the minor ideas I have in mind since I tend to get caught up and distracted by other priorities that aren’t all that fun 😞 Anyway, the art I enjoy creating the most is character art portrayed to associate with inspirational meanings, sometimes I do fun stuff as well, and I have been lately trying to work on creating OCs. Occasionally I draw fan art as well for fun. This year I wish to try to be involved in more media such as painting; I made and posted only a few so far and I am impressed with how they turned out, so I wish to paint more often. I also want to try to be able to draw more realistically since I’ve never done it before, because I’ve always been terrified of what the results would be 😅, to work on my coloring, and most importantly; For the longest time I’ve never really been too good at having a healthy social life since some bad experiences led to me being an extreme introvert, and I personally feel like my work is not reaching out, but it doesn’t bother me too much. I also want to start making smaller artworks and not spending days at a time on single pieces. LemiPromoteMyArt I didn't actually come up with a resolution this year. I had a pretty bad end to the year and have been fighting my way out of the depression for about a month. I guess if there's one thing I really want to do is continue my comic. I want to see it through to the end no matter what. It's probably going to take years but it'll be worth it. My art has already changed so much in the 3 years I've been doing it. My instagram is raincrystalwriter, primarily anime style art. I've opened up my comic and I'm reinking a panel at the moment (digital art), so hopefully I'll be able to slowly get back into it.

Lemipromotemyart I don't do resolutions but I will definitely make a lot more art this year. Last year was a bummer all over so I didn't have the energy. I will also do more acrylic paintings than I've done in the last couple of years. If you have any ideas for motifs related to mythology, folklore and wildlife I'd love to hear them :) I normally make drawings and paintings inspired by these things and the Norwegian landscape. lemipromotemyart (on Insta) I've actually got quite a lot of (art) goals and I hope I'll stick to at least half of them. Well, first of I want to improve (you don't say..). I really want to push my coloring, bc thats the part I'm most insecure and bad in and I also want to sketch much more, bc I really haven't done as much as I should in 2018. I also want to do bigger illistrations and kinda challenge myself. Especally illustrations with multiple characters. And I want to do more finished pieces. Last year I did maybe one a month, most of the time only every other month. This year I want to make at least 2 per month! And I really want to be more active on my Insta. I really want to put my heart into it, promote myself and art and maybe grow a folowing (bc I never really cared about my social media and also am really insecure). Lastly, something kinda different, I want to fill my second copic case. (Those 72 plastic thingies) The second is filled up about 1/3, so it's quite doable and related to that, I want to buy more refills for them. I wont come that far, only buying individual markers and I already have some dead markers, but I always postpone it. But nope, not this year! Alsoalso, to above. I'm mostly active on my Instagram, it's the same name just with _ before and after it. I'm really not that active on youtube sadly...

Sounds like a great set of goals! If you can, I'd highly recommend trying to focus on the subject and the setting together in the planning/sketching stages. I used to have the same issue with backgrounds, but I'm finding the more I try to think of my work as a piece in which every aspect is important, the more my backgrounds and overall composition are improving. LemiPromoteMyArt Hi, Lemi. I just wanna say I really love your videos, and this is pretty great. It's a really cool idea. As well as that, the artwork is really nice. I'm really impressed how your more sepia piece still has such a strong look. I don't usually like sepia, but I love that. I'd say my goal this year is to finish my costume design for a show I'm doing right now, but then to really practice artwork with men, hands, and stronger concepts. I also really want to work on my animal drawings. I don't feel confident with birds, so maybe more birds? I plan to do five videos this year. Not a lot, but a start. My name on instagram is artbyazzy I like to draw women a lot in a semi-realistic style, I'm usually working in watercolor but I've recently gotten into acrylics and alcohol markers! My new year's resolution for this year is to improve on my compositions. I often fall guilty of simple backgrounds with a character in front which lacks in substance, so I'm trying to essentially add more interest and depth to the entirety of my painting.

Draw at least 5 days a week, and shade my sketches, ink them, color my linearts, maybe try to have a couple more ambitious projects at some point, once I get back into better habits. I draw both original stuff, fanarts (for anime, a couple TV shows, some podcasts), and a lot of tabletop OCs. I'm into traditional, and a bit all over the place style-wise, but I tend toward cartoonish stuff no matter how much I tried to vary, lol I have a couple old speedpaints on my channel, but most of my drawings are on my tumblr - my account there is yenasmatik.

Lemipromotemyart My new years resolution for 2019 is to draw more consistently and more often. In 2018 i drew some months everyday and then 2-3 months nothing 🙈 so i will try to draw on a regular basis and I want to challenge myself more often. I found my favorite medium and my favorite things to draw pretty quickly and now I do nothing else beside drawing women with markers in a fantasy setting (mermaids angels vampires...). That’s why I want to change things up maybe draw more guys or use different mediums or something like that. LemiPromoteMyArt My new years resolution is to do more traditional art and using watercolors. I'm also trying to work on anatomy, so I'm working on that by searching up tutorials and using references. I need to work on background and objects, I'm getting slightly better at that though. I practice by drawing my mess of a room but I haven't been doing it recently though. I wanna make more videos on my channel and maybe animation memes. I wanna be more active in the art community, because i'm an anxious person and i wanna improve on that. I ghost my friends too so i have a problem of doing that. Basically, talk to more people that have the same interests in me. What type of art I do? My friend has said I have and indie type of artstyle. I used to have an anime-ish artstyle but got sick of people saying it looked like that so I made it kinda cartoony, their heads were basically ovals, until I noticed when drawing, i gave them jaws. I have a more simple artstyle I draw in sometimes thats round and chibi like. My artstyle in general is very round. I love making Ocs and Fcs because I'm a big nerd. For reference sheets of anthro characters I draw their backside so you can see their pattern so warning, a little booty be showing. I am also interested in making comics, but haven't made one yet. Another goal of mine that I want to work on, is learning how to do digital art, since I've only done it a little bit. What a lovely idea! #LemiPromoteMyArt No YT channel, but an Insta under the name madlehibou My art resolution are to keep working on the style I started to develop last year, getting better at perspective and shadowing, and also getting better at social media, lol. Oh, and getting better at digital drawing, too (I only started last year so...) I post mostly line and pencil drawing (I will practice on how to combine them nicely, and maybe color the line art digitally) and once in a while, portraits.

Another of my resolutions is to finally start my first webcomic. I'm slowly working to rebrand all my stuff to fasbean, because me who was making this channel those few years back wasn't too creative,,,, But yeah I use watercolors as my main medium, but I also dabble in acrylics and markers, and I'm slowly learning the digital art stuff :D

New Year's Resolutions... 1. I want to get better at either digitally painting or traditional watercolor realism. Good enough that I can make really impressive book covers. I also want to repaint parts of the first book cover I ever painted, because it looks like a first attempt.
2. I want to work on a few more big group shots this year. For a long time, I found shots with lots of characters intimidating, and I have to get over that if I want to be a better artist.
3. I'm trying to figure out what medium I color fastest in. I've been experimenting with watercolor, Arteza brush pens, and digital coloring. I'm trying to get more art done in the same amount of time, so identifying what I'm fastest with would help me with that. I love coloring with Copics... but it takes me forever because I'm always switching markers. Five colors just for the skin? Sure! And then there's the endless blending... I love it, but I could be more efficient.
4. I'm trying to ink less. I'd like to start adding ink accents to pieces instead of outlining everything. If I color correctly and efficiently, I shouldn't need to ink everything... I hope. Again, I'm hoping cutting out a stage will speed up my artwork. But there are certain things, like book illustrations, that I have to ink for print quality reasons.
5. And finally, I want to get a book out again. It's been four years, and I'm not beating myself up too hard because two of those years without publishing were due to my awesome little son, so that's worth it. However, I'm getting back into the swing of things and I think I can make enough happen for a January 2020 release.
This isn't a resolution, I'm gonna wait to commit to see how the year is shaping up. But I would like to do some Mermay this year, although I'm planning to do at least an hour of drawing every day in Mermay, not necessarily 30 pieces. I've come to the conclusion that trying to do 30 pieces in month-long art challenges just leads to half the drawings either a) looking good but I'm picking stuff that's too easy to draw or b) just looking bad.
As for my style... it's somewhere between American comic book style and an animation style. Maybe like the old 80s Marvel Studios cartoons? (Dungeons & Dragons, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, G.I. Joe, Jem and the Holograms, etc.) I do dip into realism and manga every once in a while, too. I've a great love for both of those, but they aren't my "house style."
Also, your YTAC Art looks very cool! She looks like a new character for Dark Shadows. (One of my fave soap operas. Correction: The only soap opera I've ever liked, and it was awesome!) I especially like the shading on her nose and under her eyes. That probably sounds weird, but details like that really stand out to me and make a piece look neat.
I wanted to participate in this one, even started a piece with three characters in it, but my co-writer husband said he'd rather see character B and C reversed, so that screwed up up my timing for the deadline, and I didn't want to rush through it. That's what I get for trying to double-duty something for a book illustration. (Although it did work for the last YTAC, so it's not always a fail.) I put out a cheap art supply challenge instead; totally not the same.

My new years resolutions is to be more active in the art community, talking/commenting. Coz I'm more of a person who just likes to sit back and watch things happen and not be active. I most definitely don't know how and what more I could do to get out there. I'm just very reserved so talking to ppl is hard, irl and online. I guess I'm weird, but I'm gonna try.
As well as that I have alot of art goals for this year but something I wanna work on is a series on colored pencils coz I love them so much and color pencil art doesn't have variety in the animu/cartoonish field so I feel like ppl don't gravitate towards it. My main art goal for this year was to finally acquire the art style that I want. I've been struggling finding the exact art style that I want for guys specifically. I kinda have the style that I want in my mind but I tend to slightly move away from it. I do have a drawings that is in the direction of my goal but there's just times that I just don't like the style. The reason why I'm so eager to do this because I don't think that I have that specific art style, seems like my drawings tend to look different from each drawing~
Just in case you're wondering, the style that I prefer for my drawings was a animeish semi realistic one! I would love to draw characters that would resemble the I actual person that I'm drawing. Like if I do a fanart of someone, it can be recognizable who it is but still in my own art style and not a realistic features. I'm confused as well but I just hope to finally be happy to my own art style~! Aannndd! Hope you guys have any tips for that! :]
Plus guys~! I'm doing an everyday doodle thingy which is really really tiny, around 1 inch by 1.5 inch. It was really fun to do and I can sketch everyday so i'm adding that up for my art goals for this year! I definitely suggest that as well for you guys!

Wow, girl~ I´ve already seen this on Instagram, but wow! This is one of your best drawings I think, at least it is one of my faves.
For this year I will keep drawing almost every day, after finishing last year the 365 draw challenge. Also, I want to try and draw at least once a month digitally.
Otherwise, I want to practice my fundamentals more, but also a lot more full body drawings, make and backgrounds.

I love that your doing this on here it's so sweet. I've been seeing very similar things going around on Instagram these past few weeks to help artist of all sizes and it's honestly amazing. I guess my biggest goal is to step outside my comfort zone with my art. Like drawing different things is really important to me this year and continuing to improve on my art. This year I'm trying to post more animations! On my youtube I only do speedpaints as of now, but I'm trying to get the stamina to finish and publish animatics and animations, even if they're short.
I do not have a page on anything but maybe one day. My art goals this year is drawing people, I feel comfortable drawing animals, pokemon, and florals but people make me want to cry. I am excited to see other artist's work though this is pretty awesome of you to help others
Also, I think it would be funny if you and Valerie did a collab where you both had to two different topics and made them correlate together.
My resolution is to do more traditional, non-computer art since almost every piece of art I've made in the last two years were 3D models. I'm specifically looking at learning to watercolor properly because I love how it looks and it's fun, but I also want to try other mediums too. So far I've tried out linocut print making and found that I really enjoy it.

In all honesty my art resolution is to just draw/paint/create more. I had a baby last year so my art came to almost an abrupt halt, so my focus became more on taking care of her. However this year I want to be more vigilant about creating more art and really trying to grow and evolve my style.

Let me start off by saying this is such a cool idea! I will definitely be looking through the comments and finding some art friends.
I started looking at art in a more serious way recently, as I can't find and hold down a "normal" job anymore due to some personal stuffs. This year I hope to go to some conventions to sell it (so far I missed one already. Didn't get picked for a table) and I also hope to get better at backgrounds and composition. Maybe even start a channel of my own on here! I already have a short video recorded, but I'm pretty scared of actually following through.
Right now, I have some specific plans in mind this year. I started a Griffin series a while back, and I'd like to finish it this year. I also created some interesting forest spirit beasties late last year, and I'd like to do one of those a month in semi-realistic style with a full background.
And lastly, I want to play around with colors and so I created a hue challenge for myself with all the fancy color groups. I'm starting with monochromatic pieces in the 6 basic rainbow colors. I'm thinking of doing dragons the whole way through, but that may change as I love all beasts equally. I already have one piece completed (video recorded and all) and another in the works! I would actually love for other artists to participate in this challenge using whatever medium and themes they want! I just haven't quite come up with a challenge name yet, but when I do I'll create a hashtag in hopes that some will participate with me so I can see all the wonderful and colorful art!

My resolution for 2019 is to be more Confident in my own artwork I really never liked showing people because I was always scared of what they would think But I’ve decided it’s time to change that So I started showing more people my art and even started making speedpaint again to help boost my confidence I know it’s not much but I think every small thing helps in the long run

I want to actually put more art videos up this year, it's just hard since all I have to film is my phone so I can't do commentary.

Start with what you've got and build up! No one has all the stuff right off the bat, and commentary isn't wholly necessary. I'm sure you'll do great!
If you want to do a voice over it is absolutely okay to do that also with your phone :) I think most of them already have even video editing programs and if not you can record your voice and also put it into the video editor on your computer just as your filming ;)

It’s so cool that you’re wanting to learn about other artists’ goals and this video actually made me feel a little more confident in pursing the minor ideas I have in mind since I tend to get caught up and distracted by other priorities that aren’t all that fun 😞
Anyway, the art I enjoy creating the most is character art portrayed to associate with inspirational meanings, sometimes I do fun stuff as well, and I have been lately trying to work on creating OCs. Occasionally I draw fan art as well for fun. This year I wish to try to be involved in more media such as painting; I made and posted only a few so far and I am impressed with how they turned out, so I wish to paint more often. I also want to try to be able to draw more realistically since I’ve never done it before, because I’ve always been terrified of what the results would be 😅, to work on my coloring, and most importantly;
For the longest time I’ve never really been too good at having a healthy social life since some bad experiences led to me being an extreme introvert, and I personally feel like my work is not reaching out, but it doesn’t bother me too much. Although it might help me become more confident in myself if my work is seen and appreciated by more new people 😊

My new year's resolution is all about coloring, I have progressively gotten better with my linework and I enjoy making big detailed, framed pieces but at the same time I have been almost entirely been ignoring color. I also want to start making smaller artworks and not spending days at a time on single pieces. I mainly draw super detailed scribble pieces as well as fanart of somewhat obscure characters that I like :D
Anyhow, I currently post my stuff on Newgrounds and deviantart + I occasionally tweet out some pictures.

I didn't actually come up with a resolution this year. I had a pretty bad end to the year and have been fighting my way out of the depression for about a month. I guess if there's one thing I really want to do is continue my comic. I want to see it through to the end no matter what. It's probably going to take years but it'll be worth it. My art has already changed so much in the 3 years I've been doing it.
My instagram is raincrystalwriter, primarily anime style art.
I've opened up my comic and I'm reinking a panel at the moment (digital art), so hopefully I'll be able to slowly get back into it.

If my name wasn't obvious enough XD its why I changed and have found a few lovely artists because of their name. I posted about my goals but my main goal if finishing up my webcomic. It shouldn't have taken 2 years just to do 2 chapters so this year, so planning to complete 10 chapters this year. Also participating in the 100 days of making comics challenge to boost my productivity.

I don't do resolutions but I will definitely make a lot more art this year. Last year was a bummer all over so I didn't have the energy. I will also do more acrylic paintings than I've done in the last couple of years. If you have any ideas for motifs related to mythology, folklore and wildlife I'd love to hear them :)

Hi guys, my new year's resolution is to improve my art this year and to try to draw more humans instead of anthropomorphic characters. I basically do CZcams for fun an not taking it to seriously, only post when ever I decide to record Somthing but during this past month iv been doing some art study.
I'm going to practice a new thing every month, January is noses and February is mouths.. etc. I want to improve on composition, colour theory, anatomy and stop procrastinating.

I've actually got quite a lot of (art) goals and I hope I'll stick to at least half of them. Well, first of I want to improve (you don't say..). I really want to push my coloring, bc thats the part I'm most insecure and bad in and I also want to sketch much more, bc I really haven't done as much as I should in 2018. I also want to do bigger illistrations and kinda challenge myself. Especally illustrations with multiple characters. And I want to do more finished pieces. Last year I did maybe one a month, most of the time only every other month. This year I want to make at least 2 per month! And I really want to be more active on my Insta. I really want to put my heart into it, promote myself and art and maybe grow a folowing (bc I never really cared about my social media and also am really insecure). Lastly, something kinda different, I want to fill my second copic case. (Those 72 plastic thingies) The second is filled up about 1/3, so it's quite doable and related to that, I want to buy more refills for them. I wont come that far, only buying individual markers and I already have some dead markers, but I always postpone it. But nope, not this year!
Alsoalso, to above. I'm mostly active on my Instagram, it's the same name just with _ before and after it. I'm really not that active on youtube sadly...

my art resolution is to expand... by that I mean the media's I use, the freedom I give myself, and creatively. I really want to focus that aspect on backgrounds in my drawings since I'm terrible at it. so far... I think doing this has made me so much happier with my art, both traditional and digital

Sounds like a great set of goals! If you can, I'd highly recommend trying to focus on the subject and the setting together in the planning/sketching stages. I used to have the same issue with backgrounds, but I'm finding the more I try to think of my work as a piece in which every aspect is important, the more my backgrounds and overall composition are improving.

Hi, Lemi. I just wanna say I really love your videos, and this is pretty great. It's a really cool idea. As well as that, the artwork is really nice. I'm really impressed how your more sepia piece still has such a strong look. I don't usually like sepia, but I love that.
I'd say my goal this year is to finish my costume design for a show I'm doing right now, but then to really practice artwork with men, hands, and stronger concepts. I also really want to work on my animal drawings. I don't feel confident with birds, so maybe more birds? I plan to do five videos this year. Not a lot, but a start.

I love the idea for this video. My name on instagram is artbyazzy I like to draw women a lot in a semi-realistic style, I'm usually working in watercolor but I've recently gotten into acrylics and alcohol markers! My new year's resolution for this year is to improve on my compositions. I often fall guilty of simple backgrounds with a character in front which lacks in substance, so I'm trying to essentially add more interest and depth to the entirety of my painting.

My new art resolution is to draw more and to finish things. Draw at least 5 days a week, and shade my sketches, ink them, color my linearts, maybe try to have a couple more ambitious projects at some point, once I get back into better habits.
I draw both original stuff, fanarts (for anime, a couple TV shows, some podcasts), and a lot of tabletop OCs. I'm into traditional, and a bit all over the place style-wise, but I tend toward cartoonish stuff no matter how much I tried to vary, lol
I have a couple old speedpaints on my channel, but most of my drawings are on my tumblr - my account there is yenasmatik.

I currently only have a couple videos on my channel, but one of my resolutions is to actually post this year. Others are to improve at digital art, I just got my first tablet ever, and to focus on drawing things more stylized and fun because I mostly do photo realism in school.
Insta is the same, myownbravado, BUT I will be posting photorealistic nudes that I draw in class. If you’re okay with that, then come on over! At the moment, it is safe for work, lol.

My new years resolution for 2019 is to draw more consistently and more often. In 2018 i drew some months everyday and then 2-3 months nothing 🙈 so i will try to draw on a regular basis and I want to challenge myself more often. I found my favorite medium and my favorite things to draw pretty quickly and now I do nothing else beside drawing women with markers in a fantasy setting (mermaids angels vampires...). That’s why I want to change things up maybe draw more guys or use different mediums or something like that. Last year I also tried some digital art and I would like to improve further in drawing digitally. I usually use Instagram tho show my artworks.

My new years resolution is to do more traditional art and using watercolors. I'm also trying to work on anatomy, so I'm working on that by searching up tutorials and using references. I need to work on background and objects, I'm getting slightly better at that though. I practice by drawing my mess of a room but I haven't been doing it recently though. I wanna make more videos on my channel and maybe animation memes. I wanna be more active in the art community, because i'm an anxious person and i wanna improve on that. I ghost my friends too so i have a problem of doing that. Basically, talk to more people that have the same interests in me.
What type of art I do? My friend has said I have and indie type of artstyle. I used to have an anime-ish artstyle but got sick of people saying it looked like that so I made it kinda cartoony, their heads were basically ovals, until I noticed when drawing, i gave them jaws. I have a more simple artstyle I draw in sometimes thats round and chibi like. My artstyle in general is very round. I love making Ocs and Fcs because I'm a big nerd. For reference sheets of anthro characters I draw their backside so you can see their pattern so warning, a little booty be showing. I am also interested in making comics, but haven't made one yet.

Hello everyone! My art goals for 2019 definitely have a range to them. One thing I am already working on is just creating more CZcams videos and trying to find a consistent schedule and uploading regularly. Another goal of mine that I want to work on, is learning how to do digital art, since I've only done it a little bit. I also want to finally work on making all the crazy stories in my head a reality as like a webcomic/comic in general! That's one of my biggest projects for the year!
Overall my goals are centered around putting my work out there more, both just as content and merchandise. I have such a long list of project ideas to get to! I also want to get better at oil painting since I was finding more of my style in that last year!

My art resolution are to keep working on the style I started to develop last year, getting better at perspective and shadowing, and also getting better at social media, lol. Oh, and getting better at digital drawing, too (I only started last year so...)

So I haven't been posting art for long, BUT! it is my resolution to make more speedpaints and animatics/storyboards. In fact, I already put up the first speedpaint of this year.
Another of my resolutions is to finally start my first webcomic. I'm probably gonna make it obvious all over my platforms when I finally do start publishing it heh :D
I mostly use instagram and there my username is fasbean. I'm slowly working to rebrand all my stuff to fasbean, because me who was making this channel those few years back wasn't too creative,,,,
But yeah I use watercolors as my main medium, but I also dabble in acrylics and markers, and I'm slowly learning the digital art stuff :D
