They're all pretty minor gripes TBH - if they're the most annoying things, then it's a pretty good car.
The reverse - hell, you need some safeguard against accidental reverse selection.
Volume - use your ears. Who cares what the percentage is? Is it loud enough or not?
The rest of it is more trivia. I'd love my car to have such trivial faults :-)

The reverse is there and has a button to make it hard and annoying so you don't put it into reverse accidently while driving

My car doesn't tell me when to shift
There is a draw under the passenger seat, and I often use the backseat drinks holder makes it a bit harder to get to but keeps it out the way of the gearstick
The bonnet catch is on the passenger side because the Opel corsa is made in mainland Europe and just rebranded to come over here

"For example in Mercedes" you are in a VAUXHALL CORSA NOT AN S CLASS. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And in regards to the bonnet lever, Vauxhall and Opel are the same company. Opel make Left hand drive cars so it's normal in 3/4 of Corsas sold
I have the exact same model, nearly all of these seem ridiculous. My top 5 things I hate about it are:
1. 1st gear is practically nonexistent
2. The speeds you need to change gear are nonsensical (which the shift light really helps when you start out)
3. The steering column often feels like it's pushing my foot off the clutch when I turn out of mg drive
4. The bonnet lever being on the wrong side
5. The layout and features of the center console (mostly just how old it all is, but also the problems you mentioned with the cupholders)
Aw I like having the button for reverse, it’s way better then having to push the whole stick in, in order to change it to reverse I think personally.
Completely agree with the cup holders though and wanting to go into 3rd😂

As a young man in 1997 I had a 205gti and it was much more basic than your corsa. I was grateful I even had a car. People say it was a classic but in reality it was a piece of shit compared to your corsa. We could wake up 1 day and all this crap could be gone. Fukin iPhones, tablets, Alexa and all other pointless shit we rely on. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but it would make a interesting social experiment 😂good luck with your channel dude, no offence intended ✌️
I had a 205gti too - with an Mi16 engine, twin 45 DCOE Webers, well over 200 BHP at the wheels and built by the son of Jean Todt of F1 fame for hillclimbs. I don't usually like modified cars, but that one was stunning - I regret selling it.
Agree about the cup holder. No chance going into gear 3 with maccies in the car...

not trying to be funny, as I think this shape of corsa is really nice. But surely I would hate the stigma of driving a corsa, as they have a rep for being driven by plonkers, and for picking up young girls lol

Have you ever actually driven a car before?
1. The car runs a CANBUS system so it shuts down aftermarket radios after a while and you have to plug in the original to make it work again.
2. The suspension is stiff as fuck
3. Barely any power and could do with a turbo.
4. Not fuel efficient even when driven like a grandma.
5. The lever to move the seat forward is wank.
There’s a shark in the glovebox so it’s basically the best car ever made
why dont you chnage to 4th to better fuel economy rather ur engine revving more and get rid of that light if it bothers you that much
MoreK3L What if you're on a short section of 30 and there's a limit change coming up? What if you're coming up to a roundabout that you can't take in a higher gear than 3rd? What if you've only just got to 30 and you're turning into a new road? It's not always necessary to shift up just because you can

I always drive in 4th when I’m going 30 mph and if you’re going into a 20 zone or approaching a round about then drop into 3rd or 2nd
I used to drive a 2016 Corsa 1.4 and could drive in 5th at 30mph.
Here’s what’s actually shit about the car:
1. No temperature gauge so u don’t know if your engine is overheating and fucking up (in which Vauxhall’s suffer mostly from coolant issues).
2. Engine is just shit.
3. Torque steer as Vauxhall squeeze too much power into their engines.
4. They understeer like a motherfucker.
5. It’s a corsa!
Minor things! I agree on the lack of compartments. Also minor but stupid is the suggestion of changing gears as it is not even at a high engine rotation.
Also I often get into the reverse /1 st issue.
My wheel is on the left so no thing weirs with the bonnet opener
cant stand the car telling him what gear to be in but wants to know how loud the stereo is 🤣
My worst car ever was a 2004 Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 3dr Energy. It was my first car however so couldn't really expect much. Being an energy model I was lucky enough to have alloys, metal door handles, and electric windows. 😂😂😂😂
An absolute beast with a furious 59 horses under the bonnet, said no one ever. It was horrendous, very sluggish, not that fuel efficient, extremely tinny, had a paint job that was flakier than my dad's feet, soaking wet driver's footwell, failed both MOTs in 2 years of ownership, and still cost me nearly 200 pounds per month to insure during my first year. 3 months after passing my test the head gasket blew which was a common fault on those eco-flex engines, so the car went to scrap heap heaven without a teardrop or a kiss goodbye.
I leased a 2016 Corsa for 3 years afterwards then went on to buy my current car, a 2012 Jaguar XF. Much better. 😁
Reverse is in that place because some corsa engines have 6 gears so it would be a waste of time and money to do different gear knobs
Hey guys does it have the same problems as the vxr 4th cylinder etc..? Is it reliable or its just the same engine with same engine problems?
I'm surprised he didn't talk about the indicator, that thing pisses me off in my corsa
What annoys me is when I take my handbrake off but I don't push it all the way down and it starts beeping

First downside meh! I LOVE it, i had cars like you want and it's just more hassle to do so, here i can blindly do it AND fast, if i have in the city center, a lot of correction to make cause only 70cm space left, i prefer it this way, i never accidently put it in back instead of one, so WHY complaint about this (other then having a 'taste' that is different).
Dont use radio ever, dont car, i love to hear engine and be not distracted (plus i love Corsa engine soudn so whatever no corsa), if i drink i dont put it there, so no issue either, the switch for putting the cap open i'm pretty sure in EU (opposite steering wheel side), the clutch is still on same side so we got it combined.
Shift, i kinda like it, it's good reminder if you are driving with high consumption, it is also set at least 400 rpm to high, so if you are already economic driver you will rarely hit that, and it's a godo reminder to have it. And if i'm racing, my eyes are on the road (high rpm), and a small light will not distract me, if anything i put my eye on the rpm counter to know how high i'm revving.
I love this car, i only hate the the seller of it (profession) doenst wanna fix broken BCM. But i'm ready to buy another if problem isnt fixed.
There’s a tray under the passenger seat, and most cars have the bonnet lever on the passenger side
You can switch off the shift light mate, dead simple look up personal dashboard settings for corsa and a video should pop up
Gear stick it is a safety feature in case you go into reverse by mistake radio volume I agree as for the shift light on dash saves fuel making sure u r in the right gear saves the engine reving to high at 30 mph I am in 5th And the latch just reach over
I only noticed the shift light last night 🤣
bonnet catch is on the other side because your legs are moving around the footwell while you use the pedals and it's to avoid your trouser leg catching on the lever and popping the bonnet mid drive 😅😊
The bonnet lever could be there incase you catch it with your leg, boot etc.

I have a same corsa but my corsa have 6th gears and the 6th gear is on that “reverse” spot
The bonnet lift is on the passengers size because it uses the same chassis as the american version where the driver sits on the left, that's also why the glove box is so small.
Reverse is there cause of 6 speed gearbox models...... Like a VXR
those things aren't much. the thing I hate most about mine is the fact that it doesn't have a temperature gauge for the coolant.
Would u notice if it had one?
1) how clunky the gear box is
2) how jerky the car be at slow speeds
3) the bonnet opener
4) the fact that it didn't come with a spare wheel!
5) probably the R issue but its not big deal

In my 2013 Corsa there is a hidden tray compartment under the front passenger seat
Bonnet release lever is on passenger side so if you scare passenger they just pull lever and slow you down when bonnet skelps the windscreen
If you worry about those five things is that nothing important is going in your life !!!
I have a corsa what i hate about mine is the warning in the middle of the vents every time i try to change the angle of the vent the warning lights come on cause I've pressed the triangle in the middle
Bro reverse for corsa has been that way for years hasn't changed
Also couple of car companies use familiar way for the shifts.
i think thats also because most people who drives the car lives in a land where the steering wheel is on the other side, i love it, cause you only have to leave the little button and put it in first... for the people who don't live in the uk its very handy.
Lol the bonnet lever isn't on the wrong side, the steering wheel is.
For your 3rd problem, to fix that turn off eco mode in the top right of your centre consol

Get a Corsa C. There's a little cubby hole to the side of the steering wheel where you don't have one. There's a cup holder area in each door pocket and one between the seats which doesn't keep the cup still but isn't in the way. I installed a dual pop out cup holder tray in another cubby hole I have below the stereo. Plenty of room in the glove box, another decent size of storage near the cigarette lighter which includes a little lid. My bonnet latch is on the drivers side. I can see my volume and I don't have a shift indicator. The only problem I have is the reverse gear but that doesn't bother me.
Not the one touch indicators that everyone struggles with then?

J3ESE you know when the windows are open and you are out of the car and you hold the close button on the key for a few seconds the windows will go up

Number 4: it is NOT a cup holder, it is a place for your sunglasses!
You realize that number 5 is because you are driving in the wrong side right....? on my corsa, the bonnet opener thing is in the correct side, and there is even a small compartment below the light switch.

The main issue is the lever being on passenger side
is the seat not set to high even when at lowest setting
Pretty much all your faults for this car in this video are petty... the shift up when you are driving is mostly for economy more than anything and the reverse button/lever is a safety feature so you dont go into 1st by mistake... if thats all you can complain about in this car then i think you are lucky.

Tbf you want to be in 4th gear going 30mph cos 2,200 rpms will just drink your fuei
I love GTRs not if its a small petrol engine it won't, your not supposed to shift till 2500rpm in a petrol engine, usually for normal driving

Compartments really pissed me off because this is my second car compared to my old car a 2004 golf GTI and I really miss the golf just because of issues like this

strange, you didn't mention:
A pillar block's view(very annoying)
too light steering at high speed(very annoying and dangerous)
demisting (I think they say so, I'm not English) side windows...the vent blows to A pillar not window, if you don't have AC good luck

1 and 5 are complains because some stupid people diceded to drive on the left side of the road and have the car RHD, if you have a LHD car it is kind of nice to have your reverse there because you van shift to reverse quite fast, number two is also a big like for me because I always want my volume to be 5-10-15-20-25 etc. Shift light is a stupid thing I can agree with you but for the storing compartments you forgot to mention the compartment under the passenger seat, most Corsa's also have one there.

I was expecting genuine shit stuff about the sri not what he finds petty about the car. EXAMPLES:
Subframe
Handbrake slips
Front springs
Rear indicators
Numberplate light
Rear bump stop covers dropping
Rear shocks leaking
Exhaust hangars
Blocked washers
Interior door handles (as you can see in this vid on his passenger side)
Honest mate these are just petty excuses why youve bought a shit car.

my old corsa d (opel made in germany eisenach) didnd have problems like 2 or 3 or 4 or 5
at1: 6 gear manuel tranmission
at 3: my car didnt had this thing at all and it didnt had esp but it had 90hp and 200nm of torque so much fun :D
at4: torage compartment under the seat for tablets phone ... but not every corsa has one (my ne corsa e did not but you can adjust both seats)

Without being funny brother. People expect budget cars to have plenty dislikes. And I'll apologise before I say because I haven't looked at your other videos...you should do one on what you really like about the car considering it is a budget choice
