    Heather, these are great ideas but at 7:20 in this video you could also take those 2 ends you clipped off and make a loop on each one to string a wire with beads on it. Stay safe and well.

    If you are going to use regular wire then why use guitar string underneath it? Why not just do the ring with that same wire?

      I used the guitar string because it has a nice coil on it. The regular wire used in this tutorial is to attach the beads.
