Yes, I know it's strange that I don't properly know the names of the guitar strings, but I am not a musician and it's been a long time since my brother tried to teach me!
Please excuse the sniffles. :)
Thank you to everyone who has left comments on my previous videos and requested more tutorials! I'm busy but will do my best to make more as I can!

TELL ME Y'ALL ARE MARRIED NOW PLEAASSEEEE
Guitar string jewelry maker's tip: Boil the strings before you use them!! Not only does it tend to make the strings a bit more pliable, it also sanitizes them. Guitar strings are so dirty! The coils hold bacteria from whoever's fingers were playing them, and whatever they touched. And since it's really easy to poke yourself with sharp ends while cutting and working with them, it's really easy to get a nasty infection.
Not a lot of people know how much grime of dead skin and sweat is in there lol
True that Ive had several strings on mine that had blood in the wires
Probably! I've used violin and harp strings without any problems (well, the harp strings were a bit tougher and harder to manage, but they still worked).
From bottom to top the strings are, "E", "B", "G", "D", "A", and "E." A good way to remember this is using the first letter of each string in the phrase, "Easter bunnies get drunk at Easter." ;)
Eddie ate dynamite good bye Eddie ;-)
Wendell Harlow. Or Edgar ate Dynamite good-bye Edgar
I'm going to make some of these for my love. Thanks Shaylynn.
Really well put together video and idea!
Thank you sooo much for this video I have been going crazy trying to find a good video for this(: you did really good on it
you did so good explaining!!!! thank you so much omg
I was able to do this with bass strings! Thanks!
Great video! Really loved your explanation!
how cool thank you for sharing your great ideas x
I actually managed to follow this with a Hass guitar string, thank you very much!
this helped me make bracelets and rings out of violin strings x)
+Soonyoung Kwon awesome!
I guess violin strings would feel more comfortable as a ring since they're flat wound?
How do you reshape the wire? I'm thinking using a hot iron?
Nice tutorial 👏
Hi! Can you show how you added the beads? Thank you so much in advance!
what kind of pliers do you use to cut the guitar string?
I was able to make one with a bass string and they are much thicker so it was a little harder to bend
Very nice. Thank you!
Could you use bass strings as well?
What if you dont have wire...can you use the smallest string on the guitar??
Probably not, it’s not very flexible and wouldn’t hold the shape tightly enough to hold the ring together. If you try it and it works let me know, though
what kind of wire did you use?
Do these ever stain your fingers?
Have you sealed them with anything? I love guitar string jewelry, but it doesnt last very long... becomes rusty and worn looking. Im curious if you can seal it somehow
you can get steel wool to shine it up again/clean, but not sure about sealing it
Wow, I know what I’m gonna do with all of my broken guitar strings now!
has anyone told you when cutting wires to get the wire as far into the sniping end so the leverage is more effective
+HeavyMetalSilver I've learned that since. :) I really should make new videos sometime because my old techniques drive me bonkers.
Thank you very much!
do more I like your videos keep it up and don,t leason to the mean peaple thank you!
She said in the Video it was 26 gauge.
I like your gutur string braclets keep it up! Also can you please make a clay monkey I do clay thanks.
THANKS YOU, YOU SAFE MY RELATIONSHIP
I wanna make this after i watched a star is born
fr anyone doing this with old, used, guitar strings, please don't forget to give it a bath in hydrogen peroxide before putting the decorative wire over top.
you don't need the dirt and sweat and skin of a guitarist rubbing off onto your fingers.
Jacob Nielsen I forgot that step in this video (I've put it in others), and the method I've used is boiling the strings as it doesn't damage them but also very effective removes gunk.
awesome, boiling water is a better method! I changed to that sometime in the past two years i posted that comment haha :P

[pull the strings and make them ring]
So my gf is the reason I actually sat down and learned my guitar, and well I just changed the strings for the first time... and it may seem cheesy but I used the strings to make her a ring
Thanks for the video. I’m going to make one for my beatiful boyfriend.
I’ll do this for a girl
