I had the same experience with my friend new home. The neutral wires were not connected and just came out. Here across the pond in my home state. The new owner is the one who is responsible for the repairs. Thank you the commonwealth state for sticking things up my nose !!!! I would bet this only happens in the PENNSYLVANIA COMMONWEALTH !!!

I really enjoy your channel. What I enjoy the most is seeing the TV aeriels going up.
Would you be able to do a video of satellite dish and aeriel installation?

So in installation of both satellite and tv aerial in one sitting? Yes when one comes in I will.

@@aardvarkinstalls yes please. Thanks. That would be amazing!
I'll look forward to it. 🙂

I like watching installations too. It’s becoming less common these days tho, with streaming being the default.

@@L1RW Streaming will never be as good as a satellite dish or a serial. Streaming is excellent for occasional use but I wouldn't want to rely on it all the time. A dish or aerial is far more reliable.

How long will zip ties last for your bird spikes? Will you need to replace them after 12 months?

    Just a thought,
Recessed wall sockets, double, allow TV to fit closer to wall
    Why masthead amp in loft??
    Instead of a distribution amplifier??

    • @aardvarkinstalls

      Ok.
So they had just had the room painted 3 days prior to me and they didn’t want any chasing out of wall, even though I said it would be better, I can only do what customer wants and to be fair you can’t see anything once TVs up. Masthead amp in loft is because that’s where the tv points terminate, and more importantly a distribution amplifier would’ve only given me 12-15 dB extra gain, where I needed more. That location is fed from Mendip transmitter which is absolutely miles away, like across two counties to reach it so I needed something packing a 25dB gain and pound for pound this works well.

      Thanks for your reply,
      Totally understand,
No chasing walls, just decorated etc,
And yes, mh, amp gives a greater signal boost in poor reception areas,
      Totally agree 👍🏻
      Thanks, enjoy your videos,
