Yeap I know the feeling of being forced to learn Imperial and Whitworth having worked in a blacksmith shop. The old CovMac upsetters were pre-WW2 equipment and were well used. That half of the shop was UNC and BSW, while the machine shop and most of the shit we made was all Metric. It was a pain in the ass sometimes

That Tverter does have a semi decent DC brake built in, and it does a pretty good job of stopping as well. Big momentum and you need the brake chopper resistor, but low speed and it does the job well.

If you want the PCD there are many caluators on the web / apps on smart phones. it tells you the coordinates of each hole
