I use a face sponge and *stipple* the foundation on, it is easier on the skin, it does not get*worked* too much ! I was told I look 20 years younger than my age,(84 yrs,).
Thadnj you so much, I am 85 and still other videos think over 69 is old. I am also visually impaired sand people ask how I put my makeup on.
Nothing like still pulling & buffering it it's the best you can use on your skin,

Yes, I stopped caring for myself for years and years. ... I wish I had woken up sooner, expected the rest of the people under my roof to do more! I worked Full time outside of the home, and full time inside of the home. Stop and spoil yourself for at least a hour of every day!! ❤❤
I wonder if you had the red mark on your wrist checked by a dermatologist. I^m 85 and have 4 skin cancers in the past year
Some were flat red marks some looked like pimples and others were scabs that didn't heal.

I got the ELF Soft Glam light neutral foundation 2 days ago from my CVS-delivered with a new Elf Charcoal Waterproof Eyebrow pencil, an Elf liquid blush... I'm 77 years old and after seeing your video, after coming home from the hospital, I decided I needed a make-up fun lift. Patti, thank you! I had a video appt today with a doctor and decided to put on these new goodies. I also bought new L'Oreal Tube mascara and a new L'Oreal pink mascara primer! It was time to toss the old mascara... Well, I'm in love with the Elf make-up and brow pencil!!! It's soft, covers well and feels light. Natural! A slight satin look, not greasy.
The 2 mascara items are fantastic! My lashes were lovely. Naturally full, long, thick, separated. No clumps. Goody! All good. Thak you, my friend!❤😮😀😊🫡

NAIL Information- Patty I am 73 and still work full time. I use Kiss Impress short Press on nails. They last me two weeks and I wash dishes and do not put gloves on. The have come out with a better glue and the box has an FX on it, they are lasting me three weeks. I just love them. I enjoy your channel so much. Over the years I have learned a lot from the information you give us.

57-year-old fan here, and I've been using this foundation technique all week, with a number of different foundations. Color me shocked at how well it works!
I am 77 and I have been using eyeliner since I was 14. I have tried every kind of eyeliner that exists! Only recently, I bought a NYX eyeliner and I absolutely love it!! It is creamy and glides beautifully. It does not smudge - even when I leave it on overnight. It stays in place too. It costs less than $6.00 on Amazon.❤ I have hazel eyes and bought the olive green and the brown.

One thing I’d like to share…l scrub my arms and hands with soap and white sugar. When the sugar starts to melt, I add a little more and some oil..coconut, canola…any will do. Then scrub a little more, and wash off with more soap. It lightens my dark spots and makes my skin satin soft. I do this About 2 times a month on my face…same results. I’ve done some research and sugar is “said” to be beneficial for healing cuts and scrapes. Personally, I find that to be true. I have been using it on my face since 1988. No one ever believes I’m 66 😄

I remember my mom and grandmother trying to tell me about the danger of too much sun . All we wanted was to look like Annette and her friends . I am 74, and i too have had too much sun in my youth .Especially on my back and arms . We never listen to good advice when we are young . Oh well . I like the way you are applying your foundation. I never liked wearing it because it made my face feel heavy and over made .I never wear it haven't in 35 years . I just apply a dab of cover up for spots and imperfections. I do use a spot remover cream so my face doesn't look bad for 74. Even in the 60s, 70s and up till now i liked the less is best when applying makeup.You do agreat job explaining the products any application. I am sure you help a lot of us have more confidence when dealing with our make up routines. Thanks a bunch ❤

Hi Patti!! Great to see you!! I too saw that video and tried Wayne’s method. Let me say it’s in the triple digits where I live - and applying foundation this way and setting it - not only looks great but wears pretty well. No I didn’t get 8 hrs wear from it- but it was great for my going out for several hours; a good 5 hrs. Love it for summer - winter should hold up all day!! Hi Patti, I have to say that's the best application of foundation I've seen you do. I'm 60 and as I've aged I've found less us more with foundation, especially. The color you chose was perfect, too.

I started using this technique a few weeks ago and love it.
I'm 55 and prefer a sheer look. I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. I do one pump on the back of my hand. I stipple the brush on each cheekbone, forehead, and chin before I start blending it in. That way I have the same amount of product on each area before I start spreading it out.
