Now days, one of the first things that I am interested in, is it 8-bit, 12-bit, or 14-bit vertical resolution? 🥳 Very professional looking oscilloscope. Thank you.

I'm working with devices that produce a lot of EMI, causing issues with touch screen control of the Rohde & Schwarz RTH1002.
Since the Micsig TO3004 has no knobs, I want to know how good the touch controls will work? Also is there any annoying error message about it (like on the R&S Oscilloscope).
I'm aware that the Micsig can be controlled with a mouse, but this is for me more like a last resort.

Touchscreen interference is inevitable, but we have 10 years of experiences, applied the TO3004 with our own touch algorithm technology, the TO3004 has passed EMI, EMC, EMS test, doing fine on touch controls. Beside mouse control, the TO3004 screen can be locked and controlled by PC and Mobile remotely.

@@MicsigOscilloscope Oh, thats good to know, because I couldn't find anything about locking the touchscreen in the manual (maybe I missed it?).
I'm really excited on this oscilloscope, I ordered one yesterday.
However I wonder about the fan on the backside, I've heard in a review it was pretty noisy. Can it be lowered/turned of in software? I really like silent operation for my gear since I'm doing experiments over hours. It's a bit weird, that it needs a fan at all. If the Battery has 55.5 Wh and it can run for 5h a charge, this is only 11.1W of heat to dissipate, while the screen might be the largest consumer. A fan increases cost, weight, makes noise, can get broken and lets dust inside. So I really wonder, what get's hot there.

@Tim Neumann You can upgrade the TO3004 to latest f/m version, long press the power button to select ScreenLock mode. The motherboard is easy to get hot when startup, we have improved the fan design and lowered the noise as much as possible. BTW, where you bought the TO3004 from?

@@MicsigOscilloscope I upgraded to Version 9 (it took 2:50 h for downloading the 600 MB file... wow).
Now that I have the TO3004 here, the fan is very noticeable 😕 If I listen closely, I think there are two fans (maybe a smaller one inside, but this one is much quieter).
The About section displays 61°C/34°C. Not sure what those temps mean, but I suspect CPU core temp and air exhaust. Depending on specs, I dont feel this alarming, the fan seems overpowered to me. But unfortunately this just the start if issues I have.
      - I tried installing an apk with the "AppMarket" but it cannot find any on the local storage or thumb drive, althought the file explorer clearly showing my apk. I also tried using the package installer but nothing happens. This is a real bummer. I dont find a nice way to add the scope to my network without third party apps (like a FTP server) (Edit: meanwhile I was able to connect FTP via ES file explorer).
      - In the notification bar I got e.g. a UserGuide notification, but clicking it doesn't do anything, but I also can't make it dissapear.
      - the user interface doen't respond snappy. There is maybe a 200-500 ms lag between moving coursors and the visible change in movement on the screen. Maybe the CPU governor is poorly set up or the CPU is just slow. It makes the feel of the scope really cheap.
      - disableing channels should be a one-press and not sonething you need to swipe up a menu (same for the screen shot button). Why not a long press or so?
      - adjusting trigger threshold should be possible inside the scope window (like the vertical position of the channels) and also not something that needs a extra menu.
      - the CHx button feel pretty unnecessery, you can select channels on the left and right side of the screen. You can't even disable channels with it, but just activate... why?! Replacing it with the Screenshot button would be nice.
      - fullscreen mode? The border around the scope window it very large/bold, wasting space, especially for clean screenshots/video capture.
      - time/voltage scale can't be changed though a zoom gesture like on a photo.
      - why is the screen recording video just 8 fps?
The scope mesurements seem to be fine, but I hope the UI will be improved.
      I bought it from evision.

What's its vertical resolution at the max sample rate? ENOB? Thanks
