For anyone who thinks song from the examples sounds familiar - it's Riot by Three days grace. Took me a long minute to remember where I heard it haha.
Very good tips there! It was just around recently that I sourced out every channel I fallow for music production tips, and listened to some of their work, and have to say, I had a huge cleaning with youtube subscriptions. Funny that there are ppl on youtube with 100k+ subs but no credibility whatsoever of what they're talking about claiming to be a mixing engineer.
The point about not listening to people whose mixes you don't like; eighty percent of the plugin reviewers on CZcams would disappear if people took this seriously😁
On the last point though... if your mix sucks, it's hard to get to that 1000 streams.. so at least some work needs done. But I agree.
I think Bruce Swedien's listening level was 85db. Is that what Rick uses?
You ever clean that monitor?
No to busy mixing lol
Tomorrow's lottery numbers
Still wouldn't have enough money to cover what I've dumped into owning a studio!
