We have watched the footage so much, that gate was definitely closed and latched. Jon didnt lean down to unlatch it and he had the DJI in one hand and his phone in the other. Very strange happenings lol. Thanks for watching

Hello Jon and Tracie. Well, that was a bit spooky. The gate was closed as Jon walked up to it, it was just the Little Missus inviting Jon in for a chat and the freshwater crocodile only bite you to be friendly, as they cannot talk.😂 till next week safe travels.

Great video guys. You were lucky to get a daytime swim at Matranka on your own, we had to go at night to beat the crowds (clearly didn't read the sign that said not recommended after dark 😅)
I thought with the people there it was crowded lol. Then when they are left it was creepy lol.

We visited in June 2019 and it was like Pitt street in Sydney, Even though its hot me thinks you have seen the best Mataranka has to offer.
Trying to figure out the best time for a swim was just impossible, on top of that there was the bats.
