Not quite the same as helldivers 2 is it, first the main attraction of GOS is the single player content which you get plenty of, the online component was a free update if your pissed that you cant play online which you didn't pay for there's something wrong with you, at least with helldivers 2 it's online only you bought the game for the multiplayer, strange they call themselves the pc master race and call console players peasants yet they won't spend the same money.
Where i live is one of those countries that does not get a PSN account. Yet I have a PSN account. When i created my account (granted i have had an account from the very beginning) i just put in an American address. Not sure that would work today.
That's their new TOS, either buy the game and sign up for PSN, or don't. Those countries that doesn't have PSN, it shldn't be an issue, they just won't get to play the game. No need to keep rehashing the same thing, for clicks.

The PC influx of players means more server maintenance and possibly upgrading/expanding the servers: somebody has to pay for that cost. The solutions are either increase the cost of PS+ for PSN players so they pay for the PC players' influx, or remove the game from countries that would have free access to the PSN servers as there would be no way to sell PS+. For regions that can buy the game, they will have to buy PS+ to use the online functionality of the PSN games. Unpopular opinion: I think this is fair.

I hope this opens the eyes of the console devs xbox and sony to show them that as much as all digital is great some countrys cant even get a psn account let alone get a good internet connections . Pattern up devs take back to old school where games got released fully on a disc with no updates needed .
