I don't get this. If it's like previous AC games the base $70 will be MASSIVE, much longer than most games, and have a beginning, middle, and satifsying end. Season passes have always been extra and again if like other AC games will be longer than most games by itself like the witcher 3 was. The $130 version isn't even ment to be bought, but to add value to the sub service.
There is actually a $280 version. The Collectors Edition has everything the Ultimate has, but it also has a 84 page art book, steelbook case, world map, 70cm long wall scroll, 2 lithographs of the MCs, a life sized metal replica of Naoe's katana tsuba (the guard), and a 40cm statue of Naoe and Yasuke. It's also for PS5 and XSX only. So if you play on PC like me and you want to get this, you will need to buy the $130 ultimate edition ontop of the $280 CE and hope you can sell the CE codes.
Game company's have been doing $130 edition for games for years and people are just now complaining about it. COD has been doing it all east since Bo2 and Ac has been doing at least since Origins. Valhalla was their greatest selling game so they know what they have, the good thing is if you wait after lauch the price drops pretty damn fast. I got the PS5 version of Valhalla for $20 and all the dlc for 50% off before I even bought my PS5 - you just have to wait a little bit for Ubisoft games. There’s no reason to buy the game at launch.
