Nice one Archie. Just watched this over dinner on the other side of the world. Crits like this are where it all begins. I have one memory of Ian Stannard turning up to a similar race at Eastway (old circuit) in London as an unknown 16yo, and we let him ride off the front. Hahahah. Thanks for documenting this important scene. Keep it up.

Very nice work Archie. Seems like we have a new Greipel on the works there with Henry. Keep it up guys. Hope for Henry to join a team and have somebody to train with, and his improvements will speed up as he puts more effort on the train rides. Mark my words, if he joins a team, he could be the marked man on the races, wich is good, so he can enjoy the fact that his every move is closly watch and act up on. teamates can make a big difference. So far he's doing very good. Nice for the whole family to support him.

Archie- excellent work! Loved the value of the crowd and sound in the outside shots. Watch the music track during the conversations. Many nice angles and interesting shots. If you can try to get some higher elevation, Ladder, along the races. That would make the POV interesting. Change the music on the longer video. You missed the crash shot!! That would have given you drama. As a documentarian (love that word ololol) you have to be in the dirt, not stop filming, just shoot, shoot, shoot. It's not just the filming, anyone can hold a camera, it's all in the editing.
Henry- Remember to get refitted on your bike at least every six months. Your hip angle seems a little off on a few of the views. I'm sure you've taken care of that aspect. Great job. Nice future in racing.
Tip: Instead of pinning your number to your jersey try spraying the back of the number with 3M Spray Mount. This will stick to the jersey material and lay flat against your back. I use this method when I TT and I've never lost a number. That way I don't put holes in my jersey (suit) and the stuff washes off. Experiment.

PUMA JUMA , thanks very much for your comment. I will take these points into a hopeful new documentary i plan to make. I do have a drone but it broke about a week before the shoot which would have got me some great arial shots! Oh i see, interesting stuff about 3M, will pass it onto Henry himself. Best of luck to you too and thanks again for the kind words. :)

Cool documentary! Getting out of 4th cat is like a right of passage, when I was trying I felt like I was in a documentary... but to see one for real is really fun- very endearing :) It's stories like this that are far more relatable for most cyclists; which in a way is better than seeing superstar pros. I also reckon that this could act like a good little time-capsule! Keep documenting mate it'd be cool to see even more stories!

Really great documentary, brought back memories of supporting my son with his development and first win. Henry, of course you wont take any notice of the negative comments on here... I would be interested to hear how you have progressed since your Crit win..? My lad is 20 and just finished racing in Belgium for his second season, its worth you thinking about going out there when you get to Cat2 (you're probably there already) , no better training ground for road racing. Keep it up..!
