I mostly agree on your analysis, but the weight on the g305 can get down to 75ish pretty easily with swiss cheese mod and lithium AAA. That also addresses the weight balance issue by default since most of the weight being reduced is near the back.
The only negative thing I can say about my g305 now is the coating. If egg shape is your favorite shape I think it's worth the work, but to each their own

The G203 weights 85 g according to specs and G305 weights 86 g with a NiMH AAA battery according to this video: czcams.com/video/Stf8UmIaJuo/video.html - I agree that getting G305 just for the parts is bad but I think swapping to another battery to get it to same weight with G203 doesn't sound that bad.
However, if G203 weight of 85 g includes the whole cable, then the weight of the mouse is totally different.
i'm running g203. I guess i won't be getting g305 unless i want a wireless mouse.
I've had the G Pro Hero for over a year now, and I love it. I wanted a white mouse so I thought I would try wireless also and went with the G305. His review for the G305 is SPOT ON. I also tried the Razer Orochi V2 and I also did not like that one. Way too small and I was getting hand cramps. I decided to get a white G203 since I like the G Pro Hero👍.

Good comparison, maybe I will get a G203 to my Egg collection. AAA lithium ion battery makes the weight balance A LOT better on the G305. I don't own the G203, but the build quality is definitely worse on the G305 than the G Pro Hero. The clicks on the G305 are also worse than the G Pro Hero also, but not bad by any means. G305 is still my favourite out of the two, the differences small enough for the wireless mouse to win out imo.
Thank you Haus, I personally disliked the G305 even with AAA lithium batteries and prefer the G Pro Hero but the G305 has solid wireless so I'll give it that :)

yeah, but the 305 has a lighter carbon mouse ball, the cheap 203 doesnt even have a ball, i think its not even digital
You can use different batteries and make the g305 81 grams. Making it a really good mouse
Thank you for this video. After my old g203 prodigy started double clicking, I was on the edge of buying G Pro Hero and G305 (sadly the new G203 lightsync has a downgraded sensor that spins out). But now I know which one to pick :)

I only stopped using my G305 because I got tired of the egg shape, but mine is pretty solid outside the battery cover wobble (that can be solved easily with bandaids or just tape), and it only has rattle on the power button which is fine and doesn’t get in the way at all, it also doesn’t creak at all and works beautifully
i allways thought the mouse has to be on the pad to be used.dont know what all that balancing bashing is for.
it’s that it’s gonna mess up your aim when the mouse is heavy on one side and light on the other is annoying and bad for the wrist

My advice to people who uses a lot of middle click, stay away from g pro hero. Their middle click (mouse 3) is overly stiff for no reason. Though
their mouse 1 and 2 are extremely soft. I would rather buy two g102 if I can turn back time.

damn g203 + paracord + switch replacement for all 5 of the button with kaihl gm 8 or huano blue white dot will cost less than g pro hero and maybe about the same price as g305

I have issues with the clicks in g203, not reliable in tapping csgo, it has a big threshold at bottom out and has a whole lot post travel i dont feel confident at all when auto guns, does the g305 have the same clicks in terms of this ?

yea just get a lithium AAA battery and use a roll up tinfoil and some tape. and thats it! lightest is the energize to 86g ish total i believe.

@@jamsyt5731 there are some people complaining about that on reddit. I've tested mine with software at ridiculously high speeds and tracking was flawless, so I'm guessing some faulty exemplars escaped quality control.

But honestly my m510 has better build, but the sensor is great I destroyed my record with the g305 compared to m510, m510 sensor is trash

Been using the older g203 prodigy for a long time now. It's my first mouse and I love it. I wanted a wireless mouse and was about to get the g305 but this video saved me. I rather save for the gpw now.

Coz viper mini's LOD is so bad and build quality isnt good.
@@pcprincipal7415 I recently bought viper mini and I can attest this. I immediately returned it. The viper is too light and feels very cheap compared to good old g203. Sensor-wise and software-wise they are both good tho.
@@Mido_ lod doesn't really affect anything. If you get used to it and build quality is really great for 60 gram mouse. It's more durable than g203 for sure.

Just bought a G203 and its piece of shit, who can literally say its a good mouse... before i had aula killing the soul, simply plastic shit for 10 bucks but it was ergonomic as fuck, cant buy it now cuz its out of sell list.
