Once upon a time, when I was a teenager I aspired to play these pieces. Today, I am an engineering student, however I still know and love all of the pieces in this video. Thank you, SMB!
I'm completely opposite of you, I am perusing Engineering as education, but don't wanna be an engineer so started learning piano lol
Damn bro, same here.
You inspired me
Thank you
@@adixo1851 I believe that learning an instrument helps us to be better engineers, because it helps us with the creativity process that is required of an engineer.
You made the right call to go into engineering lol 😹
Got all 12/12! Loved the way you transition between the pieces :)
Same!
yep hoping for more challenge in future videos like this!
same.
The only thing I forgot was the Revolutionary Etude. THAT of all things...
Me too
I thought the easy/medium/hard was a 'guessing difficulty' grade, until Fantaisie Impromptu and La Campanella showed up...
Edit:
I'll update this cuz maybe I phrased it wrong (and people like to assume things). I really thought the tiers would go from "easy to guess" to "hard to guess", because I could guess like the first seven and then it became obscure. So I was quite surprised to hear Fantaisie Impromptu and La Campanella at the end, as both of them are very popular (not to say mainstream but kinda).
I'm not skilled enough to know what's harder to play or not, so yeah. I just find it hard to believe that SMB would think these last two would be hard to guess.
Same
Same, but are hungarian rhapsody No.2 and Chopin's revolutionary etude(Op. 10-12) legit "medium" difficulty when it comes to playing?
Wait, why would they rank them by playing difficulty?
@@lunarkomet idk, but Fantaisie Imptomptu and La Campanella are too famous to be 'hard' to guess
Well to be fair, I do not think that the mozart-sonata or maple leaf rag are harder than Hungarian Rhapsody 2 and Revolutionary Etude...
The only one of these I didn't recognize was the Rachmaninoff prelude, and I didn't remember the name of the Heroic Polonaise. Excellent transitions!
bro we're the same
OMG, same dude
no way u can not know any of these
Heoric polonaise is one of my favorite Chopin piece.
Same here. I have been focusing on too many other pieces, lol.
10/12 :)
I didn’t recognize the 6 and the 10 but I was like “oh it sound like Chopin !” and “this one could be Rachmaninoff”
I got all of them. As a classical music enjoyer this was sort of easy. I almost didn't get the revolutionary etude tho.
We've gotta make the next one harder! :D
@@SheetMusicBoss looking forward to when the next comes out then. :)
@@SheetMusicBoss I'm really hoping to see some unknown Godowsky's piece on the next round!
oh i got that one really easily. i like chopin and is a fan of his work. mozart too.
Mmm chopin is very good 👍
Got all 12! I was a huge fan of classical music when I was a tad younger so I was able to remember them all. Great music.
If you had done this 15 years ago and I had known about you, I would've listed them off to you...No way I could do so by name now, but I know EVERY ONE by their unique styles, rhythms and classic riffs.
Ohh, please more of this!! I loved it!
I got 10/12
Thank you for putting my pieces in it
Wow can't believe Liszt is on the internet despite being dead for more than a hundred years! we stan
Liszten here ya little shid
Are you Shure they're all your pieces?
@@mozartisepic8971 ofc I will win
@@mozartisepic8971 I will win obviously

@@imdark7372 Yeah it was really easy but I guess some people only know the main melody :L
The transitions were amazing! I love these guessing videos. 12/12 correct, 10/10 video
More of this plz
Awesome video! Continue
Got 3/12 and recognized another 3/12 but didn't know the names of them.
The 1st one I got was the entertainer right off the bat because back in high school i took a piano class and a simplified version of it was one of the last songs in the book we used. I used to play that version so much that I used to be able to play it with out the sheet music.
Love the playing! I got every single one except for number 8! Keep doing this!
9/12. It was fun - please more videos like this!
Got it all! 🙏 Thanks for this
Part two plis!
I think it could have been harder. But good video, I always enjoy a good classical music review. 12/12.
You just put the most recognizable pieces on this list. I could think of hundreds of pieces that are significantly more difficult to recognize, but you just want the views, so great job 👍
Oh, nice! I played this with my younger sister. I forget hos much she got, but I believe I got all but 1 or 2. Thank you for helping me realize what pieces I need to go get obsessed over, now!
Which pieces
Nice choices
Can you please do ‘’Together We Ride’’ from Fire Emblem? (Smash Bros. Melee Version)
I concur
That Mae be possible
Got all 12/12, loved how you transitioned between the pieces!
Hey SMB! I want to thank you for making such beautiful content! Yiu are the one who inspired me to play piano aswell!
P.S. Could you maybe please try to play the song Life Letters? (the no glitch one)
I got everything except #9, which is kind of impressive considering that I’ve never really dealt with anything other than rock songs and flamenco.
How could you forget heroic polonaise
1:14 ooh how you press the notes makes me feel satisfied
i love how you started at the best part of hungarian rhapsody :)
Flashbacks to Rabbit Rhapsody and The cat concerto
Great video: I heard them all but I knew only like from 10 the full name. Oh and btw it would be awesome if you would do Pucci's Theme!
Everything but La Campanella as it was the only one I hadn't heard before. Good job playing the transitions between these.
Cool, great theme.
The fact that I've played most of these pieces makes me very happy
same :D
12/12, please make another one thats harder :D. Great video
I really love classical music so I loved this video, I guessed them all!
nice
Perfectly done
Fantastic
Nice!!!
I recognised them all and got almost all the names too (sadly I sometimes forget what a piece is called) and I play nr. 2 myself
This was fun to listen to. I think I’ve heard my mother play all these pieces at some point.
12/12, I love the heroic polonaise it’s so good
Some of these pieces are really overplayed, but I still like to play them! It was very easy to guess 😅
I was just waiting and hoping that la campenala was on there and as soon as it started playing I was in piano heaven what a amazing piece
12/12 without cheating - used to play about a third of them myself, nice choices btw
9/12
I think I did pretty well here. I dig the transitions!
Heya, could ya guys do Alpha - Vamgelis please? Would be awesome to see it
left jand: vibing
YES! I only missed 3. Also, thanks for this. I really enjoy doing them!!!
I want some more games like that 😍
Number 9 was difficult to guess 🤔
As a classical music fan, can u please, next time add like John field, Domenico Scarlatti... They are good and no one knows
Hey, could you please, by any chance, do «The Grey Crow» from Death's Door game? Really fell in love with that song
Also got 12/12. Great selection!
Could you please adapt Batzorig Vaanchig’s “In Praise of Genghis Khan”? I’m curious to see how you make throat singing work in piano.
Done perfectly
Think we should do a list of classic pieces that were later reworked as meme pieces (or used in meme pieces outright)
12/12! :D
I knew most of them, and I was just lightly tapping my foot to the rythym of the songs.
But when hungarian raphsody came on, I was tapping my foot aggressively.
8. Maple Leaf Rag - Joplin
9. Heroic Polonaise
10. Prelude in C-sharp Minor
11. Fantaisie-Impromptu
12. La Campanella
I had heard all of them before, but I only remembered 7 out of 12 by title.
Namely 1. The entertainer by joplin
2. The turkish march by mozart
3. 4 the moonlight sonata by beethoven
6. The revolutionary etude by chopin
8. The maple leaf rag by joplin

3. give up
4. moonlight
5. no
6. idk
7. idk
8. maple leaf thingy by Scott Joplin

10. what

12. no
All except number 6. Great choices!
I know and love all pieces
I have got 10/12. The video is amazing!:))
All correct
LOVED IT! Please make more of it!
There's a bunch of them I knew by name, maybe one or two I knew by sound but didn't know the name to (Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 because of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and Fantasies Impromptu because part of it sounds like the Great Fairy theme), but there was also some I never knew of.
I hope I never forget Claire de Lune. It's such a beautiful piece.
I think next time you should include some more obscure works and maybe works by, say, Lili Boulanger, Schubert etc.
Got 100%!! I’m proud
YOU ALL ARE SO CLOSE TO A BILLION VIEWS WHATTTT
Got them all right :)
We needed this! Much luv from Krisp to SMB!
Haven't listened to much classical in a while but got all of them 😎
You should make a "Guess the Rush!" video
12/12 😊❤️
You should do guess the John Williams songs on piano
Alternative Title: Classical Pieces you heard but don't know the name
Ain't that always the case? 🤣

From me to the Legendary Pianist (Sheet Music Boss SMB) I played only the Moonlight sonata 1st movement and the K545 by Mozart
Great job too Smb
The Entertainer, Moonlight Sonata, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, Maple Leaf Rag, La Campanella one of them I could tell was by Chopin but I didn’t get the name right. It was Fantaisie Impromptu
Got all right while just looking at the notes falling down.
Nice music
Need to brush up on my Chopin, the last two of his caught me out
You know you humor is broken when you laugh at "Debussy". Tiktok got to me
Hi SMB, tutorial of revolutionary pls.
I guessed:
The entertainer
Moonlight sonata
Turkish March
Hungarian rhapsody 2
Revolutionary etude
Prelude in C# minor
Fantasie Empromptu
La Campanella
8/12
got everything right ✨✨
I got them all!
How would you rank yourself if you not only got every single one of them right but also hummed along all of them? (to be fair, I am a classical musician)
I love how joplin is a classical compiser
I got all of them as I know music pretty well
11/12 noice i didn't get the Rachmaninoff prelude :( nice quizz btw ^^
My sense of humor is absolutely broken and I started laughing at Debussy for absolutely no reason.
