But for six months I presided over a felony court and I sentenced one fellow to life for kidnapping and shooting his girlfriend five times in the chest leaving her for dead by a canal in Florida. She survived and her testimony at the trial was very exciting. He took his sentence quietly then filed appeals all the way up to the Supreme Court. My decisions were totally upheld.

I have a son who is very mentally ill. He has been getting help from doctors, therapist and social workers his whole life with my full support. He was never abused and had my constant love/attention. Still, nature made whoops. Something is wrong with his brain that all the meds or positive thoughts can't fix. People don't believe the parents when they tell them they see red flags. So they do crimes. Then, one day they turn 18. They get a hold of guns, knives, drugs or booze and people die. Then they all say the same thing, " where were the parents? Why did they not get him help". They did, and that help did not work. In a few years, I could be that mom. I hope not but it's possible. Yes, I understand people have to blame someone. They have to believe nobody they love would ever be so sick for no reason. I am here to say any one if you could have a family member like this. He could be your brother or your father. It could be your son or daughter. I would never choose this for my child. How could I bare any blame?

I lost my grandmother in February 2018 after watching her suffer for 2 months in the hospital with cancer and it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. I still cry over her death sometimes. I miss her so much it hurts. I'm over here wishing I could see, hug and talk to my grandmother again while those kids we're killing theirs. What the fuck is wrong with people.... I would give absolutely anything to spend one more day or even just one more minute with her and tell her how much I love her and how much she means to me. As a father myself, I can't watch the ones about the children being killed. It makes me so overcome with emotion, breaks my heart into fucking pieces. I can't believe there are lifeforms in this world, not even having the emotional capacity to be human, that would take such aggression out on an innocent child. Dude once I was playing with feral cats in a residential area and suddenly there was a loud baby cry of pain from some house nearby, probably fell or smthn.. I remember very well that I didn't show any expression on my face and immediately thought that their parents will take care of them as evident by the sounds that followed right after.. and I look over at the cats and they were absolutely petrified!! Their faces overcome with a mixture of concern, horror and shock. I have never seen those expressions on a cat before. Put in mind they couldn't even see the baby. I have a better solution. People pay tens of thousands of dollars to hunt lions and other big game that they will never eat. Put this people in a large fenced in enclosure stark naked, say 150 acres. Let people hunt them. Use they money to pay for tax funded legal costs, judges salaries etc. Make these people PAY. The two boys who are murderers AREN'T just kids, They're old enough to understand that you DON'T murder ANYONE AT ALL. IT'S NEVER JUSTIFIED. I DON'T know if the American system of life imprisonment is the same as in the UK but a life sentence often carries time of for good behaviour, which can knock a sizeable chunk of prison time of the sentence, so these two little criminals COULD be out of jail in far less time than they've bargained for.
I work for the general prosecution and I would NEVER leave a judgement to "the people", bc they're out for revenge. I'm glad to live in a system that has educated and experienced judges, who don't need a jury. As much as I agree with the victims and their family, I'm actually quite happy that educated people do the job. A court should NEVER apply vengeance, no matter how much the public wants it. A court has to be objective, no matter what, that's one of the many reasons why I'm grateful that I don't have to live or work in the US. Judges are corrupt. Jury by peers is a little better. The odds of having a corrupt judge is greater than the odds of having 12 or 6 corrupt people on a jury. The courts can manipulate the make up of the jury too.

I’m basically fully recovered and I’m happy I got that surgery and the only down side is numbness in my bottom right part of my rib (at least it’s not a limb). I was a contractor working in a maximum security facility and talked to a great deal of staff. I discovered many things that the general public are not aware of. Each facility has a hospital, which treats only one condition, mental illness and depression of which, 95% are occupied by new prisoners who receive a life sentence. I was informed that after the trial, when all the attention and fame has subsided, most new inmates experience a mental breakdown. All of them were the cocky ones, who show off during the trial, within months, crash... The false personality of egotistical bravado suddenly evaporates. I spent one hour in a cell, to feel what it was like, it was terrible. So whatever is going on in your life, don’t do anything that may cause you, to go to a place like that...

I work in corrections. Inmates are without fail surprised by the fact that there are rules they have to follow and that they don't get everything they want. Also, when they want something they are overwhelmingly upset when they don't get it immediately.
Even if he knew his brother was there, he didn't watch him die. The kind of people that like lighting fires up don't realise the consequences, as far as the people I met showed. They don't care if you tell them what could happen.. they think it will be totally fine and if you reprimand them then you are just afraid cuz you don't know how to stop a fire... As a father myself, I can't watch the ones about the children being killed. It makes me so overcome with emotion, breaks my heart into fucking pieces. I can't believe there are lifeforms in this world, not even having the emotional capacity to be human, that would take such aggression out on an innocent child. It's enough to make me physically sick.
They're truly to be pitied. Their brains genuinely don't work right. Whether it's from sick influence, abuse, birth defect, etc. I'm more than happy with them receiving the death penalty or spending their lives behind bars. Everyone I know is so kind and delicate when handling kids. I can't comprehend what must go through their minds and how they'd have no remorse. I imagine it will be even more extreme once I have kids of my own.
Dude once I was playing with feral cats in a residential area and suddenly there was a loud baby cry of pain from some house nearby, probably fell or smthn.. I remember very well that I didn't show any expression on my face and immediately thought that their parents will take care of them as evident by the sounds that followed right after.. and I look over at the cats and they were absolutely petrified!! Their faces overcome with a mixture of concern, horror and shock. I have never seen those expressions on a cat before. Put in mind they couldn't even see the baby. The vile creatures that could kill a baby are demons.

I’m sorry if this is seen as terrible but when these people get sent to jail at a young age and get released when they 50 or older I think they should be given the option of whether they can try and live in society with a criminal record and with a lack of experience or they can receive a lethal injection and cut their life right there.
I have a better solution. People pay tens of thousands of dollars to hunt lions and other big game that they will never eat. Put this people in a large fenced in enclosure stark naked, say 150 acres. Let people hunt them. Use they money to pay for tax funded legal costs, judges salaries etc. Make these people PAY. Also,these murderes woyld then get to experience the fear that their victims felt as their lives were being ended and they were powerless to resist.

I DON'T know if the American system of life imprisonment is the same as in the UK but a life sentence often carries time of for good behaviour, which can knock a sizeable chunk of prison time of the sentence, so these two little criminals COULD be out of jail in far less time than they've bargained for.

I work for the general prosecution and I would NEVER leave a judgement to "the people", bc they're out for revenge. I'm glad to live in a system that has educated and experienced judges, who don't need a jury.
As much as I agree with the victims and their family, I'm actually quite happy that educated people do the job.
A court should NEVER apply vengeance, no matter how much the public wants it.
A court has to be objective, no matter what, that's one of the many reasons why I'm grateful that I don't have to live or work in the US.
I'd rather chew my arm off and stuff it up my butt, before being forced to live in that utterly horrible country.

Judges are corrupt. Jury by peers is a little better. The odds of having a corrupt judge is greater than the odds of having 12 or 6 corrupt people on a jury. The courts can manipulate the make up of the jury too.

I’m basically fully recovered and I’m happy I got that surgery and the only down side is numbness in my bottom right part of my rib (at least it’s not a limb). Hope everything goes well and just know I’ll be thinking about you!

I was a contractor working in a maximum security facility and talked to a great deal of staff. I discovered many things that the general public are not aware of. Each facility has a hospital, which treats only one condition, mental illness and depression of which, 95% are occupied by new prisoners who receive a life sentence. I was informed that after the trial, when all the attention and fame has subsided, most new inmates experience a mental breakdown. All of them were the cocky ones, who show off during the trial, within months, crash... The false personality of egotistical bravado suddenly evaporates. I spent one hour in a cell, to feel what it was like, it was terrible. So whatever is going on in your life, don’t do anything that may cause you, to go to a place like that...

I work in corrections. Inmates are without fail surprised by the fact that there are rules they have to follow and that they don't get everything they want. Also, when they want something they are overwhelmingly upset when they don't get it immediately.
