Master the Pole Arm: A Comprehensive Guide for Amtgard, Dagorhir, and Belegarth

Here is a class I put on for my local group a couple of weeks ago. We go over how to fight with a pole arm in a line of fighters and what you should be looking for. These moves will work in Amtgard, Dagorhir, Belegarth and any other foam based larp.

Funny I fight with my right hand forward so I can more easily attack my opponents sword side, but then again I mostly stab with a few pull cuts. It also lets me really lean into it when I go for a shot a their shield.

Thanks! This type of tunic is called a deel and was worn by the Mongols and other steppe peoples.
I got mine on Etsy. I have a couple others made by local people too. I hope this helps!
