Libby’s little speech here about going abroad alone if that was the only way was what made me decide to go backpacking round Australia on my own a year later. It’s the best thing I ever did and I have Libby to thank for it 😂 Ironically whilst there I met Drew, Dee, Toady and Joe Scully.

Late 90s is probably the last time I regularly saw this show. I stopped properly watching years prior but it was always on in the background since friends and family still watched it. I was 19 in '99!
I'm the opposite, late 90s was about the time I started watching regularly. From then til about 2003 or 4 then I dropped out again.
Who else loved Drew? Great guy

Can't believe it. I turned 22yrs on that date. Huge Neighbours fan back in those days, Janet was a great actor, rest peacefully.

It's hard to believe that Harley Bonner (Josh Willis) was 8 years old when his mum (Carla Bonner/Steph Scully) arrived on Ramsay Street. Even harder to believe that he'd end up in the street 14 years later and eventually working alongside his mum.

I think I was just about still watching the show at this time, but it wasn't much later on that I stopped.

I'd remember the Scullies arrived in town for first time as like yesterday. Instantly one of my favourite families, and the girls are so gorgeous. Holly Valance got me first, but then Carla, then Holly, then both....... they certainly left me with lasting memories. So sad to hear Lyn has died.....
