- FIRST LOOK: The GT3 RS is the pinnacle of the 911 and Porsche upped their game for 2023. On the outside you will discover tons of active aero, forged wheels, and varbon fiber bits. On the inside there are 1-piece race seats, unique steering wheel and rear seat delete. Under the engine cover is a 4.0L flat-6 that redlines at 9,000k RPM. I’m speechless at what I’m seeing here,this GT3 RS is going to give the other competitors a run for their money. You also forgot to mention the Porsche floor mats,that’s an additional 5 extra horsepower. The carbon fiber can easily be my table for my thanksgiving dinner. Incredible job joe and Lori,we can’t wait for the on throttle action!
But I’m curious if Porsche is going to make a 911 GT2 RS on the 992 platform. 😊😊😊😊
Its so hard to believe that this car still has more potential😭 but only porsche would be able to drop 4 more seconds on the Ring for a GT2

Wow someone actually speced this car without carbon ceramic breaks! Track or not that is not a good idea. I have a lizard green 991.2 Gen GT3RS and would never push it as hard as I do through the back roads without proper breaks. There is nothing like this great video as usual Joe...!
The brake performance is about the same, and several tests have shown this. A more track oriented driver should still get steel brakes, as they make much more financial sense in the long run. If you don't plan on tracking regularly, PCCBs are the clear winner tho. No dust and longevity
992 gt3 rs time in Nurburgring was 6.44 and 992 gt3 time was 6.55. So time difference is around 10-11 second. Nice vlog btw.

Those rear fender vents are not for induction, they are for reducing drag, and sucking the hot air from the sides.
Remember the whole point is to keep the hot air from the radiator down low and off the roof so cool clean air is available to the induction vents on the rear deck, and of course that huge wing.

It's very easy: You get two or even three 992 GT3 RS for just one "comparable" new Ferrari. And every Porsche has way better build quality than a Ferrari, which costs two or three times more.

The GT3 RS has even more downforce on some track sections than an actual GT3 race car, due to race car regulations, which the GT3 RS doesn't have to follow!
