@@ANiceGuy The best kind of right. Also Gordon wasn't entirely right himself as some salads are intended to be served warm, such as from a few heated components, and while heating with a microwave isn't always ideal it can be a great tool in the right circumstances.

This episode is a certified hood classic but I feel compelled to point out to newer viewers that Natalie had to give up medical school to manage her parents' restaurant. She wasn't simply lazy, she was thrust into a role she didn't want. A big one at that.
Maybe she "gave up" on her schooling because she was lazy and thought this would be a free ride down easy street? *shrug*

When Gordon said that he’s in prison I thought to myself… they should do a show where the best chefs cook a meal in a prison with the ingredients they have for the whole population
Gordon actually did a show in prison. He taught a bunch of prisoners to cook and make pastries. They actually sell them to nearby coffee shops as a way to atone. Some of the prisoners when they were released actually became cooks after they were released.

Yea check out those behind bars episodes with gordon, it's pretty close to what you asked. Mostly they bake and sell that, but once they also have the task to cook for the Prison.
These are actually so good too. It’s realistic because the prisoners that partake in the show get shit from the others because they’re goody goody suck ups. Gordon is the man for real
