Speaking of, my buddy and I played live when MoP released and we spent 30 min on the bombing run quest because there was a figure 8 of gyrocopters trying to shoot the 3 red barrels on the horde ship. We took screenshots and it looked like the old windows solitaire effect when you won. Fun times.

I always plan in advance to main some other class or spec, but when it comes time to log in and start the expansion (or patch or whatever) I always go Spriest.
Switching to Spriest for TWW so I’ll probably level at least four! 🤣
That's me a feral druids. I've never mained one but that doesn't mean I don't have 4 of them. I'm still trying to decide between a Highmountain kitty or a Vulpera hunter.
I think what a lot of people are missing is there can only be one Evoker on a server, so we will see how that plays out for people that already have one and level a new one.
I've been wondering this too. Hopefully they lift that limitation.
You can make one on another server, and pay to transfer it over to a realm you already have an evoker one - you've always been able to use that loophole with hero classes before Blizzard removes their limit...so I doubt it'll be an issue with moving them from timerunning to live servers. Or Blizz may remove that limitation by then!

I have so many hunters...they're amazing fun, easy to level (the easiest imo), and you have so much custoimization with pets!

Are there lockouts for raids or are you able to farm them repeatedly? I saw on the PTR that there were no limits?

Does anyone know if we’ll be able to obtain the specific class armor sets for the “gold challenges” dungeons? I think mop was the expansion that had those which are unobtainable now in current retail
As a true monk lover it is prime time to actually try tanking, I've always leaned back and played MW which is the funniest class out there!
I’m going to grind this so hard. Getting one of each class on horde and alliance to 70! And picking all the heritage armor races I don’t have yet.
What better to go back in time to MoP with than a bronze, time travelling Dracthyr? (even though I already have a green one) Hoping they have mogs for evoker (and DH) instead of just borrowing from other mail/leather classes.
Ill be making another druid to level through quests and some dungeons quickly. You get easy travel access with travel form, with the fact you can interact with stuff while in travel form itll be super quick. Ontop of that you can tank and heal, so you can switch to whatever is more in demand in dungeons for instant queues. Once i got my cloak to be super charged up ill make some alts to level them to 70. After this event ill have all classes at 70 so im looking forward to that, plus all the transmog im missing :)
I'm using this opportunity to level classes of the opposite faction; a big Tauren warrior always fascinated me. And the sunfury mage looks amazing in the upcoming expansion, so I'll also make a blood elf mage.
Yep, I'm exactly the same. Have every class level capped on alliance so I'm going to play horde for a change. Have fun 👍
Question: How does the stat cloak behave for timewalking chars on different servers? If I have a lvl 70 on server A with big cloak stats, does my timewalking char on server B get the same stats or do I start at 0 again?
I don’t plan on leaving during the war within but do you plan on leveling it through wow remix to get the mounts!

I don’t have all the allies race quests unlocked (only have alliance lvl 70’s) will I be able to select horde allied races to make into a time runner?

can you send the copper between chars or are they account-wide , or is it character specifique?
i believe that it is character locked, i can imagine the meta spiraling out of control fast if there wasnt a teensy bit of friction. but do understand that as you grow in level and do harder content, the Bronze will flow faster and better for that character.
Probably going to be a Druid - So I can Tank / Heal and DPS... and sneak around. (Already got 4 Paladin / 4 Hunters 😂). My current Druid is a Kul'tiran... so it'll be a Night Elf Druid instead.
My druid is a Nightelf so in the remix I'll level a Kul Tiran :). I'll probably level another mage and priest too (already got 2 of each but they are so much fun!). And perhaps a deathknight or paladin just to see how unstoppable they can be.
100% being a druid, so much mobility, quality of life, all specs for tanking, melee and ranged dps, and healer, (going to farm dungeons as tank for massive bronze) , stealth to get past mobs I don't want to deal with, instant mount form, great offhealing, etc etc. I'll farm all the stats and exp bonus on cape as druid then switch to alts to level them.
Bro druid of the claw is one of the best in The War Within
My main is a nelf druid already so I'll take a break from that I think, probably go Zandalari Paladin, because palas get a race-unique special mount - gotta collect 'em all! :D Then again, druids get race-unique animal forms, so... /headache! Choices, choices... lol
So excited, I took next week off to grind the remix. Then using more vacation for TWW launch!

I was planning on a warlock (what I main) to get the cloak up then experiment with other classes. I always play Warlock, Mage or Hunter. I would like to try something else. I am still undecided ....

I have never mained a rogue going into an expansion in the 17yrs I've played this game. May have to give then a shot.
Going to be levelling a Paladin first off as I am changing servers. I would recommend a class that has either a heal spec or tank spec so then you can work towards doing dungeons solo or with 2 people fairly quickly

a question: this event is crossfaction? I want to level an alliance toon. Can I raid with my horde guild on this event?
I just watched a video that said lfg is the slowest way to level and to stick with questing for best xp. Did it change?
Do the stat boost works if i make a second character on another realm?
Can you play any class and still unlock the Tusks of Mannoroth for your plate wearing characters? Thats the only item that interests me.

Check out some of the new talent tree's for the war within. If any of the hero talents feel like something you would want to try get familiar with it while waiting for TWW.

@@chrisblack5359 ye, but you have to kill garrosh 20 times on normal or higher i think. daily raid resets or something so not too bad.

my mains a BM hunter, so definitely gonna start with a survival hunter, then a MM hunter, then probably the rest of the horde allied races

I think so too mate ! I am lucky enough to have a full party already with friend so no pb for queue :D But I rly think tanks will be completly broken rly fast
Don't be silly, it will be 90% BM hunters like always, then people will switch to tanks and heals once they have an insane cloak bonus.
Looks like paladin will be the most played again. It definitely was for the remix ptr.
I have a question. You mentioned you were going to redo a lot of your alts, after you level them in Pandaria remix, are you going to delete the original ones? Or am I missing something here? Wouldn't you lose your rep achievements when you do that? Or is there a way to just start your existing ones over?
You can always just server or class change

I have everything max for a while already. Took this oppertunity to level all 4 allied races on horde side that i still needed for the heritage achievements and armor. Done all alliance once but never did horde. So very fun doing it this way. Maxing out the first one to get the max achievement for the alts cloak and then will start leveling those other 3 allied races :)
so question that i haven't been able to find an answer to - for queued content and open world content, will horde and alliance be forced to be separated like it is in main stream WoW right now?
I would think the factions are still split. Unlike Classic or SoD, Remix is built on top of the Retail system so apart from loot and lvling progress everything else is going to function like retail.
The only question I haven't heared the answer to is the transmog you unlock through achievements. Can you unlock the transmog for all classes with doing the achievents on one character?
not sure, which is why i'll roll some Pandas and have them rest at an Inn, ready to aid me, should i need that aid at all.

so if you already have an alt like a DH level 58 for example, you will be able to level him up in pandamix or will you be able to make him again in the pandamix from scratch and then when the event is over you delete the one you had idle and keep the new pandamix version of him?
You will not, you will have to create a new character and level it, anything else wouldnt make sense anyway due to how different the event will be.
@@fabiusque4266 that is how I thought it would be, but he said something that make me question it, he said that you can replace your alts (that yo have now on retail) and change names and finish leveling them. So I guess you will have to create a timerunner like your alt, level it in the event as per normal and in the end when it is over and the timerunners come to retail...delete your alt and keep his new version. I hope I expressed myself correctly.
Current main is a paladin and has been since BC, second char I'm enjoying is dark iron dwarf SPriest, I have 4 other max level alts incl a mage I've had forever.
Warband wise I want one of each armor type so I am thinking of re rolling either druid or DH for leather and shaman for mail since I have never played one, and will be draenie to boot. I am stoked for this event and having you say you're going to be 'replacing' chars for the name change etc makes me feel a little better about doing the same
Do you still need to get to lvl 40 to get one of them fox chars ?
I don't care much about transmog, but I do like experiencing quests. I might level new characters of several races just to play through their heritage armor questlines.
i'm going with a Tauren Sunwalker aka Paladin for my main, and if i need any extra toons to unlock Class Specific items, i will roll Pandas to cover my bases.

So how does it work? Is there going to be servers like regular wow, if so when you transfer it to live they stay in the same servers you created the character? Is faction a thing in the remix can you que up with opposite factions?
when you go to make a fresh toon, the option will come up if you want to level one normally or go into Remix Mode, throughout the event you'll be living on Pandaria, leveling, questing, farming Bronze, the single new currency. it is used to buy things and upgrade things, but there is no Professions, no Gold and no AH.

I really enjoy holy priest but might try tanking. I do solo a little so it’s a toss up between pally or holy priest.
If we redo our « main » character do you loose out on all artefact skin progression from legion ?
If you mean the unlocks then no, if you mean progress towards new unlocks then yes.

Im gonna try my hand in tanking. Hopefully by doing that ill have a better understanding on different mechanics and such. I mainly heal and dps and im scared of tanking so this will be interesting. 😅
The ability to change the name and race of an alt is very interesting. I have a full roster and a couple of dud names in there. Will this make the alt unplayable in retail? I'll have to check out some more details on this. Great vid!

gonna be running a void elf fire mage since its the only spec i dont have that i want to play... (have frost mage but they dont tend to stack crit) and i dont have void elf heritage

Yes and yes. Allied races are already unlocked for everyone when you have a lvl 40 character.
From what I read you get to create the characters on the realm of your choice. It's the same realms as normal ones but you're zoned differently until the event ends.

I'm not sure what to level. I already have every class at 70, since I have 42 toons at 70 already, but not all classes on my main realm right now. Can't decide between Mage or Shaman.
But what if i am a veteran player, can play all roles, and have all classes to max level, some multiple? What is there in this event for me, when the only two things MoP can actually offer, are not available. CM skins and Ordos cloak
I have a lot of questions.
1. If I decide to play my main to change my name, when I go back to DF in max level, will my old bank contents be retained?
2. What about the gear that my main character wore in DF?
3. Will the recipes I learned before the remix remain?
You can't play any existing characters, you have to create brand new ones assigned to the event and you'll only be able to continue to retail once Remix ends.
I am a main Evoker and started playing since Dragonflight, I have some classes I want to have on my alt army like a Druid, Hunter, Shaman, Warlock and maybe a Rogue. So I think this Mists of Pandaria Event couldn't come any better for me. The only thing I was wondering is that when the War Within expansion drops, can we still get the older Druid forms?
My main soloing is gonna be a demon hunter. Can swap between havoc and veng on the fly and basically be immortal. Plus dashing/gliding to make things quicker.
Planning on playing resto shaman, never played shaman in any high level content in retail
I am thinking about making a human to unlock as much reputation with the factions and as far as class goes, I am thinking about warlock. I have not looked into the green fire quest that much but maybe I can work on completing that.
this seems like its going to be a ton of fun but i wonder, can you go alt crazy and keep your cloak between factions. Im all horde and would love to get some alts for alliance side to play with some folks, i imagine its not going to be so restrictive as to make you start a new cloak with the other faction but i just havent seen anything about it.
Not sure what race/class I want to run for MoP Remix b/c I have one of each class already...and they are all Horde except for my Dracthyr Evoker, so I'm thinking about rolling an Alliance Allied Race and making them a healer since I want to get into healing...or at least learn it. Also, this is an excellent way for me to learn how to heal. Not sure if I want to roll a Resto Shaman, Resto Druid, or a MW Monk. I just know that I'm going to change it up and turn them into Alliance
I wanted to make a Fire Mage, but I think I’ll make a Warrior main on the remix since that’s what I know and then a mage with the buffs
As always playing melee I will finally roll Mage or Warlock, that is gonna be a blast.
Expecting instant-casts to be pretty crucial in order to tag mobs, and also because so much of the content will be watching stuff fall over as you run past stopping only to loot. So that means affliction & fire have a massive advantage over the other specs. Evoker might be the worst caster since they don't have a good way to mass-apply dots on the move and let gem procs wipe everything out.
I have been melee for many years (since tbc). Tried mage and warlock over the last couple of seasons. Far prefer lock :)
As someone who's played both, I suggest start with Warlock. The pets, particularly the voidwalker really help out.

@@jbutler8585 Yeah but you are AIMing just for solo or outdoor content. Most of the people will farm dungeons/LFR raids to hit max lvl ASAP :D so class that got healer/tank off spec will get invite prio, because there are always lot of dps spec in Que.
