WINTERBLESSED is a new epic skin for Hwei that was released in November 2023. This new epic LOL skin features a brand new set of visual effects for Hwei, as well as a total makeover of his looks.
Winterblessed Hwei costs 1350 RP, and can be purchased from the League of Legends store.

The fact that the brush colours aren’t that distinct one from the other isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it makes the skin more pay to win

@@danielbarnes1241yeah, riot is lazy af. Hwei abilities are based on "subjects". Why just not go with the theme of the champion and not make that Q abilities has for example snow theme, W ice theme and E aurora theme
All the crying and moaning when you can just look at how he holds his brush.
Besides, it's not like he makes an aoe enemies WANT to stand in.
Best part of the skin is the sound on his ultimate. Sounds like something you'd hear in a Winter themed adventure movie. Like an epic chase/escape or magical blizzard.

I feel like the hair and the paint splash being similar to its base is pretty okay for me since the skin is overloaded w particles and distinct colors opposite from the base skin.
He needs a fright night skin bad. I can't think of a better fit for him

Regarding Hwei, I found this skin a bit below expectations. I still need time to get used to the champion to be sure, but I feel that most abilities in this skin are similar in the game

The effects of his ult were nerfed when I played with him on the PBE as his ult grew, you could see the tops of houses, kind of sad that they removed that
This is so sad! I guess they did it for visual clarity but it's really sad :(

Btw, in the skinline's lore, Hwei is the one painting/creating the Auroras we see. He's the LITERAL AURORA GOD AND ALL HIS ABILITIES ARE BLUE???

I bet he's not gonna have tons of skins due to his complexity but inkshadow and blood/snowmoon are his most obvious skinlines
The amount of skins for champs like Aphelios, Udyr and Kayn isn't too bad!
Hwei has a lot of vfx and sfx to make, but no model changes, so he may have a decent few skins in the future if he's popular enough.

Just the fact that this skin makes his abilities un-readable and it's just c*m all over the map..
To me this skin is almost as boring as base.
Hwei is meant to be boring because his fun and character is all in his art... so in base skin his abilities are very colorful and characteristic. And then comes this skin and it's all just boring ice.
But hey, pay to win
