- A you guys requested, here's my review of BQ Katarina! Who would you want me to review next?
BATTLE QUEEN is a legendary skin for Katarina that was released in 2020. This legendary LOL skin features a brand new set of visual effects for Katarina, as well as a total makeover of her looks.
Battle Queen Katarina costs 1820 RP, and can be purchased from the League of Legends store.

Yes, this skin is stunningly good among the legendary ones, Riot will probably never achieve this feat again, especially because this skin was planned to be an ultimate, but was sabotaged along the way!

Having different weapon colors that fits with each chroma make this skin look like ultimate skin.

actually someone looked into her files and found unused code for form changing
then he made a custom skin using that code to use her matching chromas for the daggers
so most likely she was supposed to be an ultimate skin but riot gave up on her to release that garbage serashit scam bundle

No argument, this is Kat's best skin by the fact you have 5 daggers in total and even looks different with a different chroma. The best part? This is a LEGENDARY skin, better than the Ultimate Samira skin lol.

3:54 is not the ruby chroma. That's the tanzanite one. The actual ruby chroma is gorgeous though.

I'm using this skin since release and yet there's some details I haven't noticed, like the ultimate breaking if interrupt, that's so amazing
She also has a different critical auto atack animation •^•)
She slashes with both daggers*--*)
And also, some gemstones in her outfit changes colors depending on what dagger you using
They do! She's got an incredible amount of small detail

@@Hector_Solarisnot to mention that obsidian and pearl chroma slightly change the daggers' base color too. Playing pearl BQ Kata is so satisfying to me... Reaching 15 kills/assists gives you daggers that perfectly fit with the hair and outfit. To me it's like a "reward" for reaching that point in the game
This could have been a great Ultimate skin if Riot didn't back down at the last minute.
The outfit was supposed to change colours between blades too. But Riot decided that it wasn't a good idea because of legibility.
Yeah... all what chnge are the gems sadly
I hoped she would get a mythic chroma that did that, not I fear she might get a scamming chroma that does that instead.

About the dragon in the recall, it changes color matching each Chroma color!
Regarding chromas, he has a special chroma that came with the pass, which is a kind of Light Pink!
Just want to add every chroma has different daggers and it matches too. If they made this ultimate this would beat Elementalist Lux

Not you comparing a new skin to a skin that was made *7 years* ago lol. Elementalist Lux is a great skin by the time it was made and probably the best skin in the game on that period. If Lux's skin was recently made nowadays then it could even be a better skin.
My point is this skin has a lot of potential and if it is made as an Ultimate, this would beat all the existing ones. And you said it yourself that lux skin was made 7 yrs ago. All the more reason riot should update it. But I doubt that, they wont gain or earn money by doing it hehe

Lux's skin is good on its own, Kata's skin is also good on its own, so it's not needed to compare the two skins that's especially were not made on the same time. All I said is if you think Kata's skin is good then just say it's good, it has potential to be an Ultimate, don't have to bring another skin down for no reason at all. It's like you compare an old woman to a young girl and say the old woman is not as young and pretty as the young girl lol. It's just absurd.

I'm Kat main and I use this skin like my 90% games with Kat. I think it's one of the best skins in the whole game. The chromas are so fcking precious too, I usually use the obsidian one
I definitely agree, although tbh I prefer the pearl chroma compared to the obsidian one. Matches better with the final daggers' aestetic

Yes, each dagger has different sounds and during the ultimate this becomes clear! Another interesting thing is that the floor crests on this skin are based on mandalas from Hindu culture, which makes it very interesting!

The skin is so beautiful! I don't play Kata ever, maybe in arams only (I'm a support main), but I was genuinely happy when this skin got announced! Katarina is pretty popular, I'm surprised they took that long to give her a legendary. Honestly, I was so happy for her mains.
Then I got this fragment in a chest, I COULDN'T NOT CRAFT IT.
Then my mains get horrible legendaries like, Immortal Journey Soraka, Coven Nami, Winterblessed Senna, dang 🤣 (If you like 'em, good. I don't because I'm tired of chinese skins, I don't like edgy or serious ones either.) Ah, but Katarina is REGAL there. Thanks for reviewing this beauty!!! 💕

People are acting as if this was a top tier legendary, where the only highlight is the change of models of the daggers. The VFX doesnt really change in design, just the colors, so no, its not up to ultimate skins or other legendaries like Kayn´s, where the VFX designs and sounds change, as well as animations between forms. The VFX also looks washed out overall.
