All Around Us There Is Darkness

  • Many are becoming increasingly aware of the darkness of atheism descending upon our times. It is impossible to believe in God and accept the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. There can be no clearer sign of Satan's reign than the exaltation of this sin. How have we come to this point? It is because the majority of Catholics have turned away from True Catholicism. Man has turned away from God and usurped Him. Catholics have altered the True Faith. Yet for over 400 years God has mercifully warned us. Father concludes by giving inspirational encouragement and concrete advice on what every Catholic must do. The time is NOW.ription

What a false dichotomy and disingenuous excuse for an argument. Good works do not remit, no matter their number, the eternal consequences of sin. If you die with mortal sin on your conscience, you go directly to Hell, homosexual, pious hypocrite, or otherwise. If you are of good will, God will give you the grace to overcome your sisn and die in a state of justification. Stop trying to excuse your own abominations before God by pointing fingers at the sins of others.

      I once had the same concerns that you seem to have. The best way I can answer why I no longer have concerns is simple. Prayers fall into many categories. Prayers of thanks, prayers of petition, prayers of love, prayers of communion, etc.... All prayers made by Catholics are to God directly. Saints are humans who mastered the art of prayer on levels non saints often don't reach. Now a saint is someone who is in full communion with God. Which means they are in full obedience to Gods will. Mary was such a blessed woman that God chose her to bring grace and truth into this world. Her son conceived through holy spirit was full of grace and truth and brought a new covenant. This new covenant came into the world through the new ark of the covenant. This ark of the new covenant is Mary. Inside her womb God became a human being. She obeyed Gods will and said let it be done when asked if she would be willing. Now jesus being a sinless man, obviously means jesus upheld all the commandments of God.
      The word of God became flesh and Mary has a unique place in human history due to being the human vessel that created the flesh of God. Jesus loved his mother deeply and when his mother petitioned him to help if it was Gods will Jesus always listened to his mother and where it was in line with Gods will he obeyed the wishes of his mother. Now if humans can achieve full communion with God then it seems very likely the woman God chose to be his mother was the most perfect example of womanhood ever on earth. Which would suggest she is the greatest saint that ever lived.
      Now if Saints are in heaven and mastered the art of all prayer then asking a saint to pray for us would be a powerful prayer since the saints prayers helped them be obedient to Gods will. Saints are purely human examples of sinners who through prayer and obedience reached full communion. They found the way to heaven. Therefore their prayers on our behalf can help jesus as lord and God the father and the holy spirit to communicate with us through the example of the saints.
      Now if saints prayers are very powerful and reach God the father through communion and communion comes through prayer and obedience then asking a saint to pray for us is good. You can ask your friends to pray for you. The saints are our friends. they are not dead spiritually because they reached communion with God. So technically you are praying directly to God but almost through a direct line to God. Now of course you can pray directly to God without praying to saint. But more prayers on your behalf can help reinforce faith hope charity and obedience.
      Now if Saints are powerful advocates of prayers. then the mother of the king of heaven is the most high advocate of prayer. Mary is the queen of heaven through being the mother of God and the most perfect ark of the new covenant. Even when jesus and Mary were living flesh in history Jesus never turned his back on his mother and when she petitioned Jesus he never denied her prayer. The turning of water intwine is a good example of jesus doing miracle when he probably wouldn't have done the miracle if his mother hadn't asked on behalf of the wedding party host.
      Catholics praise God through prayer and pray all prayers to God directly. But petitions to Mary asking her to be advocate on our behalf can be a powerful prayer. Since jesus never denied his mother request if it was in line with Gods will. And if Jesus loved Mary and God the father loved Mary so much he chose her out of all women who ever lived then I believe its Gods will that we love her. Since the Angel gabriel when he gave his famous salutation said Hail mary full of grace the lord is with thee. Now if God is with Mary then Mary is with God. And if they are in full union in heaven and jesus and the father and holy spirit have special place in her heart then Petitions to Mary are petitions to God directly. Her voice and person is completely separate but spiritually she is unified to God in heaven protected by powerful angels and the ark of the saviour of Mankind. Her womb brought God into the world. And Jesus opened the gates of heaven as saviour. Mary prays for us all. Jesus made her our spiritual mother in heaven if we belong to jesus. And therefore prayers to God directly are often heard more eagerly since if you love jesus and obey him you love all his saints and his mother just as much and they all know his love to the highest degree since they wouldn't be saints otherwise.
      We don't pray to Mary. We pray to God who is love. The way to be saved is through prayer and obedience and Mary is the highest advocate other than christ himself. His flesh is from her flesh. God made Mary and Mary gave us emmanuel. All grace and truth came into the world through her obedience and the way from heaven to earth is through mary. The way from earth to heaven is through jesus. Her heart was pierced when his heart was pierced. She suffered when he suffered. Christ alone was saviour but Mary has a unique place in the saving of mankind.
      In the jewish monarchy before Jesus was born. the queen was always the kings mother not his wife. Therefore Jesus being king of kings means Mary is queen of Queens. And all obedient servants of the kingdom of God honour the mother of the King as Queen. The mother of an earthly king is most powerful advocate if we request something of the king. Therefore Mary is a most powerful advocate being our spiritual mother. It might even be the commandment of god to honour your father and mother. She is our mother our advocate our sweetness and our hope. And we cry our petitions to Mary in hope this gracious advocate can help in our requests.
      But ultimately praying to God in any way shape or form is good. The closer you are to God the better for our souls.

      Mary has nothing to do with anybody's salvation. Through God's Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ I was saved into God's family and have eternal salvation. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. No need to contact a secondary source such as the human being Mary. The Holy Spirit is in me and I am in the Holy Spirit and He guides me in my life. There is no more powerful relationship than to Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit who together give us God's Will to live our life. Mary is not the mother of God, she was only the bearer of God man Jesus Christ and she had nothing to with having Jesus Christ being Holy.

    • @UnPoeteMaudit
      @UnPoeteMaudit Před 7 lety

      "Mary is not the mother of God," Mary did not merely "bear" Jesus Christ; she is His genuine mother who gave Him His human nature, body, soul and spirit. Since Christ is God, and Mary is His mother, Mary is mother of God. That's a logical inference. If you deny this, you either deny the true humanity of Christ and descent from Adam through David's line, or you misunderstand Catholics to be saying that the divinity of the Godhead has a mother where they mean only that the human nature of God has one. What the Church precisely means is,
      a) Mary is truly a mother, that is, she contributed everything to the formation of the human nature of Christ, that every other mother contributes to the formation of the fruit of her body;
      b) Mary is truly the Mother of God, that is, she conceived and bore the Second Person of the Divinity, not indeed according to the Divine Nature, but according to the assumed human nature.
      That's all. What therein do you contest? But like all Protties, you've never actually bothered to examine the Catholic doctrines you pretend to critique.

    • @UnPoeteMaudit
      @UnPoeteMaudit Před 7 lety

      "Through God's Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ I was saved into God's family and have eternal salvation." The notion that you obtain salvation before your death and cannot lose it is not just an un-Bibilical but an anti-Biblical invention (Hebrews 10:26-29, John 15:6 Luke 8:13, Galatians 5:4, Phillippians 2:12, etc.), and therewith it the claim that you can know you are saved. Salvation belongs to all the elect, but is something the Saints in Heaven and souls in Purgatory alone have obtained.

      DR [9] Knowing this, that the law is not made for the just man, but for the unjust and disobedient, for the ungodly, and for sinners, for the wicked and defiled, for murderers of fathers, and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, [10] The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
      Jude 1:7 [7] As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. [8] In like manner these men also defile the flesh, and despise dominion, and blaspheme majesty. [9] When Michael the archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he durst not bring against him the judgment of railing speech, but said: The Lord command thee. [10] But these men blaspheme whatever things they know not: and what things soever they naturally know, like dumb beasts, in these they are corrupted.
      NB There is only ONE reading from Jude in the entire Missal - and that is from
      Jude 17 20b to 25
      2 Peter 2:6-8 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; 9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
      NB There are no quotations from 2 Peter 2 in the Missal at all.
      1 Corinthians 6:9-10
      DR [9] Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, [10] Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.
      1 Corinthians 7:2 But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
      Genesis 19:4-5
      4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom-both young and old-surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
      The Novus Ordo Missal only includes verses from 19:15-29 then skips to 21:5,8,20a none of the earlier accounts of this event are ever read out. Plus, I think you will find that unless you read the Douay Rheims version of the Bible (The Challoner version is the only one available, not the ORIGINAL Douay Rheims) you will be receiving amended texts anyway. Buy yourself a Douay Rheims version as soon as possible. Jesus Christ is far more Glorified in the older versions. In New Modern Bibles, whole passages of the Old Testament are missing , and in the New Testament, Scripture has been interpreted to decrease the impression of Jesus Christ's Divine Status.
      By the way, don't believe the lie that no texts outside the Bible state Jesus Christ to be Divine. Read the writings of the "Apostolic Fathers" (those taught by the Disciples) online (Google "Apostolic Fathers") and also google "Proof OUTSIDE the Bible of Jesus Christ" I think you will find references to Him being considered to be GOD, by the Romans Tacitus, Pliny, the Jewish Josephus and a couple of others whose names fail me at the moment.
      Also two descriptions to Him having Red hair, One in a letter from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar, and another in an account by Publius Lentelus. THERE is also a third (it states Our Lord to resemble His Mother, (both red haired) yet it states that Our Lady's face is rounder than HIS.
      Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
      The Missal quotes from Leviticus 13 and then skips to Lv 19
      Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
      The Missal quotes from Lv 19 and then skips to Lv23
      3 Kings (1 Kings) 14:24
      ....and there were also Sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
      Remember that the word SODOMY, (the Homosexual Act) was originally known as "The Sin of Sodom" There is no mistake. That is where the word originates from.
      Don't separate Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, from the Father. He is exactly the same. He judged them THAT day too. It is easier if you are aware that before He was made incarnate, He existed in Heaven, and Scripture says that it was HIM who reigned down brimstone on Sodom, the direst penalty for their sexual sins - A sin that cries up to Heaven for vengence. a dire sin in the Lord's eyes
      The Lord's visit to Abraham in the Book of Genesis (chapters 18-19) is a powerful proof text for helping others to see the reality of the Old Testament Trinity for these reasons:
      "First, it clearly shows God walking around on the earth in human form with two angels
      Second: It was passed down to the Church, through Sacred Tradition, by those that knew the Disciples, that Our Lord Jesus had made appearances on earth prior to His Incarnation (ie: within the OLD TESTAMENT)
      Third, in Genesis 19:24 there is clearly depicted two distinct manifestations of God - The text shows One of the 3 members of the Trinitarian Godhead on earth whilst one remains in Heaven.
      "Then the Lord [on earth in human form] rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Father out of Heaven. Genesis 19:24.
      The unanimous opinion of the apostolic Fathers (The apostolic Fathers being those taught by the Gospel writer's DIRECTLY) was that this was the pre-incarnate Son of God, Our Lord Jesus talking to Abraham, as seen in Genesis 18.
      Jesus states in the Gospel of John (Ch 8) " Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM." When Moses asked God what His Name was - He replied "I AM" Christ here tells us (and the Scribes and Pharisees) that it was HIMSELF that gave that information to Moses. He states elsewhere that He was with the Father at the beginning -
      The Gospel of John states "Through Him all things were made!"
      God appearing to Abraham is an example of a Theophany.
      .
      So the point I am making is whatever God the Father states, God the Son agrees with, for He they are ONE in thought, word, and action. Christ was with the Father in Heaven, prior to the Incarnation.
      As one who has studied the Scriptures, and the writings of those who were taught by the Disciples (St Justin Martyr, St Polycarp, St Ignatius of Antioch - et al) (I think you will find that it was the pre-incarnate Son of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who VISITED Abraham with the two Angels, and commanded that they be destroyed
      In fact Our Lord Jesus stated as much to St Catherine of Siena, one of the Doctors of the Roman Catholic Church. He stated to St Catherine that it had been Himself that destroyed 5 cities for the sin of Sodomy.

      The Bible states that Homosexuality is a grievous sin in the eyes of God. Our Lord has spoken so let no one dare to rebuke His Judgement.
