It is a very good prayer to say to Jesus "do not let me be lost or to go to Hell". What do you think the prayer we repeat in Church "God have mercy" means? It is the same thing. God's Mercy keeps us away from what? What is it we want to avoid with His help?

The James Bond movies are not good though... almost all of the spy/action movies promotes immodesty, foul language and sex outside of wedlock.
Funny enough, the cleanest action movies are Marvel which is owned by Disney. But even those costumes are skin tight and they are starting to release movies and television which has lgbt and witchcraft themes. I am probably going to stop watching most Marvel movies. God help me to free myself from any attachments to sin/near occasions of sin.

Itâs hard to renounce some things, and you will definitely be seen as an extremist, but when people persecute you for your ENTERTAINMENT choices, then you will really see the state the world is in nowadays. Porn ruined my life too, until I started saying my daily Rosary !
I overcame my addiction by staying away from porn during this lent season. On Easter Sunday, I thought I can go back to my old habits, which I did, and I felt great - but just for that moment. I knew what I was doing is wrong, I felt unclean as after many years of being addicted to porn and self satisfying myself, I enjoyed porn, as opposed to dating. I ended up watching stuff which I never thought I would enjoy, or want to watch. This proved that this is nothing but EVIL.
Six weeks ago, I prayed to Mother Mary and begged her to help me overcome this urge and I have started to change my life. I go to confession. I have started my first 5 Saturday devotion to Our Lady. I pray the Rosary daily. I make sacrifices and this is all helping me a lot.
It is a battle to be pure in this evil world, and there are moments you will fall and be tricked to think, 'now God does not want you'. But be assured, confession is there for that very reason and with time you will overcome all these evil urges. Two days ago, I deleted my Facebook account, just because I felt it was an obstacle to stay pure.
When I get tempted I say the prayer to St. Michael and the Hail Mary. I watch a lot of videos on the Rosary. The Fatima apparition for example.
Remember, it will not be easy to overcome sin, because its a dirty habit. But if you pray fervently to Our Blessed Mother for help and your guardian angel to lead you to Jesus, they will help you.
I know where you are right now and how it feels. I will keep you in my prayers today.

Brothers/Sisters, i cannot urge you enough to do whatever it takes to stay away from pornography. I have been looking at porn since my teens (now 45). The gap betweeen occurrences of sin over the years went down from months to weeks. I tried to deal with it myself, trust me it doesn't work get some help. Open up to a close friend/relative if you can. I know it's scary but I've recently told my father and he didn't react like i thought he was going to. You need someone to encourage you and help you.
Since Dec 2016 I have been very ill, trouble urinating, not sleeping and now suicidal thoughts. I never had any pyschological issues before, but now I feel like I'm slowly losing my mind. I can't go out cause my body is also really weak. Iv'e been put onto sleeping tablets and anti depressants but inside I know this isn't the solution. Pornography now disgusts me, I haven't looked at any since Dec, but it's taken this ill health for me to realise, rather than doing it out of love for God and trusting him.
I think because I've committed this sin so long, even with confession, I've opened a door into my mind. It feels like my mind is literally being taken away. Pyschologists will only treat what they know and they don't know the soul, unless you can find one who is Christian.
The battlefield is the mind, take the thought as soon as it comes and submit it to Christ, bring it to the cross, do not idulge the thoughts. The thoughts aren't the problem it's the fantasizing. Put on the Armour of God in Ephesians with particular focus on the helmet of salvation to protect the mind and the breastplate of righteouness to guard the heart against unwanted desires.
I've used the word feel alot and you shouldn't base things on feelings cause they change, I'm just trying to describe what's going on. I don't have any peace or joy, I'm crying alot as if I've been cut off. Prayer is hard cause I have this opression in my mind. I've spoken to 2 priests, who give me the sacrament of the sick, but won't acknowledge the things I talk about when I try to explain about an evil influence. I've even started gnashing my teeth.
I don't want to scare anyone with this, I just want people to know what can happen to someone. My God please help me, I truly am sorry for my sins.
Hi Liam, thank you for your words brother. I can see your reply in gmail but not on youtube for some reason. I've had a brown scapular since my teens, also got a benedict cross & a statue of St Jospeh and the child Jesus by my computer. I've talked to priests about this but they don't acknowledge any demonic influence and there is no exorcist priest in my diocese here in the UK.

God had mercy on my soul & I am an awake catholic now.

Please please please listen to this priest Highly experienced in sexual exorcisms!! Learn and teach catholic prayers, greatly limit media in the household which sparks very ungodly discussions, behaviors, and lusts. Parents practice what you preach; your sins will show up in your teenagers' lives and they may be generational sins which you might need help from a priest. The Holy Spirit, the Blessed Virgin Mary, confession, church attendence and living rightly can fix these problems. But they're going to take Supernatural Holy Spirit help and intervention. Trust me, I learned the hard way and you cannot undo things! My daughter got tattoos, arrested, drugs, tongue & belly pierced, and gave up her virginity because it was simply in the way. That was 20 years ago, I came back into the church, but I'm still praying for her.
She will be fine, unless she judges the sins of others harshly instead of forgiving them.

I promise if you begin a Blessed Mother study like Gaitleys 33 Days to Glory, Mary will give you help and with help you never dreamed of! Including changing those around you. I started with simply saying in confession, "I need to understand Mary better." You see, confession is not just what you did, but asking for Godâs help too, as if you are talking to Jesus himself. Who the priest is doesn't matter because, due to the priestly office, Jesus honors YOU coming into confession whether the priest is good or bad. Therefore, let God judge the priests, bishops and popes....just pray for them with 3 Hail Marys frequently, Mary whom they really first answer to (St John at the cross with Jesus' mother was given the charge and visa versa); some priests know this and others do not-doesnt matter, but Jesus said so with his dying breaths. Trust Mary and what this specific exocist priest is saying here! Begin to pray Hail Marys whenever, where ever, silently or outloud! Go frequently to confession and trust me, God will remind you what you need to speak about even if it's a broken record), and change up your perspective/attitude. I pray whole rosaries and also parts of rosaries and make up my own intentions including for those of the Mercy Chaplet because I am an intercessory prayer partner with heaven for souls who have no one to pray for them and their deliverence. If you wake up in the middle of the night, pray the Lord's Prayer. Learn the Nicene or Apostles Creed and try to say at least some of it daily and the Lord's Prayer especially when tempted to sin!), at least one Hail Mary like when you're driving or taking a shower. These prayers connect you with the Kingdom of God and the ability for the Holy Spirit to work in your life. God never meant for prayer to be a difficult task or living a Godly life. This comes with practice!! Course work that never ends but God never adds sorrow to this work! God bless us all with the help of His grace! Amen. Memorizing prayers is key. Guard your gates! Read all Deut 6! The default to all iPads computers and phones is to let anything through the search and pop-up ads! Separate and remove the opportunity for your entire household including YOU ADULTS, and put a Watchman over yourself guarding it every 2 or 3 days! Do not ever take anything for granted. Would you leave your toddlers with a known pedofile? Of course not. That's what demons are. Trust me.
