I think this is my favorite DMB version of any song ever, outstanding
"Ants Marching" has a slight flavor of Zydeco in it already. But when you add in the Nawlins Jazz Flavor of PHJB? This is the PERFECT marriage of the two flavors into the greatest version of Ants Marching ever performed. This is exactly what it was meant to be. It literally brought tears to my eyes and choked me up.
It also brought back memories of all of the times that I have been to Preservation Hall in person, both as a child and an adult. It just cannot be beaten.

Lucky enough to work at Pat O'Brien's in the late 90s. Every break I had I walked straight over to Preservation Hall and listened to the beautiful music coming through those windows.
Carter is the backbone of that band. Just awesome to watch them all.

I'm amazed that this blessing of a performance can be given to us and your comment focuses on what you don't have. Stay present, young Jedi. This band in it's current incarnation is a tremendous gift.
His energy was amazing and really made this band in a way, but he was so bad at his instrument lol. Let's just be happy that the band even wants to play anymore. Carter is freaking 61.. it'll all be over soon.
