A big congratulations to blood clot survivor Trey Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs for their second Super Bowl victory in a row! In this clip, Trey tells fellow blood clot survivor Katie Hoff - an Olympic medalist in swimming - about getting diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism as a college athlete.

totally understand 😢the not feeling well, hard to breathe part, I started not being able to do things that came normal.. walking distances to mailbox, car, showering, keeping arms up to shampoo hair, leak strength out of normal, not being able to carry groceries inside, I don't remember exactly if it was about a period of a week or less.. 😢but it started to scare everyone around me.. finally even though I felt hospital would do nothing, I drove myself with my son because I didn't want to go and waste time sitting for them to blow me off, I remember parking and having to stop twice in lot before getting inside even going to the bathroom prior to being checked in to hospital ER... CT scan came back multiple Pulmonary Embolisms 🫁 my lungs were Full.. they transferred me to another hospital and told me they might have to do surgery 😢 I was hearing all this medical jargin but barely had a clue what it all might.. 😮so nervous.. I kept it together for family... not realizing I was that close to being at the end... if you're not feeling well get help.. we never know what the issues are till they are found‼️
