I used to be of the mindset that being a good person and not going to church was ENOUGH but i was liying to myself i had a sin i continually poracticed i wasnt separated from the world... once you begin your path to santification GOING TO CHURCH and being at church and serving at church are the happiest you will ever be. find A good Church, ACHurch that is harsh against sins where the pastor is loving but is also not afraid of the congregation to call them out on their sin and where they are active Soul Winners...

Those were the words of other people at the time that got into Scripture. Jesus forgave the woman caught in adultery with no repentance. Being limited in human interactions due to my medical conditions the only person I see is my one and only friend who is an atheist. She was deeply unhappy recently due to the loss of friends and acquaintances and was upset and angry and without preamble said she couldn't believe in God because no God would take these people from her. I only said that I understood that she needed to have a target for her pain and if not for God then whom would she blame? That was not the right time to question her atheism even though her mention of God as the unfeeling, cruel God put her atheist belief in question. I don't evangelise to her but I do let her know occasionally that my faith is a great comfort. Sadly I don't know Scripture very well, or rather I'm too drugged up to remember but I watch many religious videos that cover the Bible and meaning behind the passages. I pray for my friend, I pray for many and that's all I can do. God bless the evangelists, and those who are preparing to. In Jesus name. Amen.

How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. How to know if you're guilty or not? Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible. Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police. Do not lie. Do not steal. Do not commit adultery. Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word. There are six more but let's just leave it at that. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman. How many times a day do you do that? Do you use God's name as a cuss word? Would you do that with your own mother's name? If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty. God can justly punish you and send you to hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die. That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you.
Using His name as a cuss word I do t think that’s it. I was born from a cult marriage arranged by a man who said he was a prophet of the Lord. I fell away for a long time and still struggle with it. I hated myself knowing that I am the product of something so evil and I was angry with God for making me in the first place. I’m learning to be thankful now. I’m learning that evil was not from God but that God can use evil for good. That man, who called himself a prophet took the Lords name in vain. So many have and still are fallen away because of him. Before I was Christian, street preachers never convinced me of the truth. The only thing that did, was Jordan B. Peterson. Christians always are frustrated with him cause he doesn't allow himself to get browbeat and manipulated into saying the exact words they want to hear him say, but the fact is he brought me and thousands of others to Christ despite not applying an exact verbal formula. You will know them by their fruits.

True, not everyone has the gift of evangelism but according to the Bible, Matthew 28:19 says “Go, therefore, making disciples of all Nations Baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.” You may not like it but it is a commandment of our Lord. I don’t really know how to spread the gospel in an effective way. My family says they are Christian but don’t go to church and my sister seems to be growing so kind of grudge against God and even wants to switch schools next year for one that is not Christian. I’ve tried sharing the gospel with her but she always says she doesn’t care half way through and changes the subject. My parents also never really do any Christian traditions. Well we do have Christmas but it’s more about presents and family than anything else. They are good people but never once have I seen them pray or consider going back to church (they left the other one because the pastor didn’t let gay people in). Basically everyone at my school is already Christian, my parents think they’re already good to go, and my sister doesn’t wanna listen to anything I have to say. I’m sorry for all of her excuses but if anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them.
Respectfully, I think Ephesians refutes this. Everyone has a gift from God and we should act according to it for the sake of the church and God’s glory. I do think anyone can tell someone that Jesus was raised from the dead. However, I don’t think everyone is supposed to make it their life’s work apart from the specific calling of God because of Ephesians. If a person is gifted to be one thing and becomes another instead they are sort of robbing the church of what they should be doing that it may grow into maturity and be knitted together in love. But we are all innocent when we forgive and life is not supposed to be by the sweat of our brow. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. . Using His name as a cuss word I do t think that’s it. I was born from a cult marriage arranged by a man who said he was a prophet of the Lord. I fell away for a long time and still struggle with it. I hated myself knowing that I am the product of something so evil and I was angry with God for making me in the first place. I’m learning to be thankful now. I’m learning that evil was not from God but that God can use evil for good. That man, who called himself a prophet took the Lords name in vain. So many have and still are fallen away because of him. I don't disagree there are many ways to disrespect someone's name.
Using God's name as a cuss word is not the worst way of doing it but it is one way of doing it.
Think about it, as Ray Comfort often points out, name anyone from history whose name is transformed into a cuss word.

Before I was Christian, street preachers never convinced me of the truth. The only thing that did, was Jordan B. Peterson. Christians always are frustrated with him cause he doesn't allow himself to get browbeat and manipulated into saying the exact words they want to hear him say, but the fact is he brought me and thousands of others to Christ despite not applying an exact verbal formula.

I don’t really know how to spread the gospel in an effective way. My family says they are Christian but don’t go to church and my sister seems to be growing so kind of grudge against God and even wants to switch schools next year for one that is not Christian. I’ve tried sharing the gospel with her but she always says she doesn’t care half way through and changes the subject. My parents also never really do any Christian traditions. Well we do have Christmas but it’s more about presents and family than anything else. They are good people but never once have I seen them pray or consider going back to church (they left the other one because the pastor didn’t let gay people in). Basically everyone at my school is already Christian, my parents think they’re already good to go, and my sister doesn’t wanna listen to anything I have to say.
I’m sorry for all of her excuses but if anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them.

Respectfully, I think Ephesians refutes this. Everyone has a gift from God and we should act according to it for the sake of the church and God’s glory. I do think anyone can tell someone that Jesus was raised from the dead. However, I don’t think everyone is supposed to make it their life’s work apart from the specific calling of God because of Ephesians. If a person is gifted to be one thing and becomes another instead they are sort of robbing the church of what they should be doing that it may grow into maturity and be knitted together in love.

That is called projection. Jesus called it, "Judge not or you will be judged"...by yourself. We try to get rid of our own sins by projecting them onto others. But only through forgiving them do we realize that we are forgiven for ours.
By service, through listening to God's will saves the world but not through sacrifice. On the cross, Jesus replaced sacrifice with forgiveness.
