Very good for a cheap indie game, wish their was a lot more and also a map, I have a migraine from trying to find the last key, spoiler alert it was in a door I had passed 5000 times
So I’m assuming the story was about a girl who dreamt this castle as an escape from reality. And Sybil went to this castle to defeat her and so she could stop hiding and live her life?
Sybil seems like a titular character in dream worlds, hence why the little goat dudes seemed to recognize her. Goats/sheep *are* synonymous for sleep (counting sheep)
Had to come in and check that I didn't get a bad ending or something since there's no credit scroll. You beat the final boss and it just goes back to the title screen.
Okay so it wasn’t just me, beat the game about 5 mins ago (from this comment post date) and thought it was a multiple ending type of thing. It just ends like a souls game
I was thinking the same thing after that final cutscene. Funnily enough I recently played Klonoa just before picking this up so I definitely saw some similarity there at the ending it seemed. 10/10 Wahoos.
I know is a movement focused game, but when i finished it, it really depressed me how little detail the story has. I really wanted to know more about Sybil, but it is what it is i guess.
The final boss was really fun (even if I 1st tried her), but one thing I liked was the fact you could hit her out of some animations, basically you could put her in hitstun for a bit until she teleports away which I found to be my strat, tho I did not know you could hit her projectiles back at her. I just went for my standard "slide around and dodge"
My theory is that sybil is more like an entity that can take multiple forms a being that travels through peoples minds and head. She simply took this form because the girl that made all this to escape reality simply likes goats bunnys and cats so sybil took a anthro form for just this occasion.
I assume you probably figured it out already, but for others stuck, I found it best to only attack them with a string of three hits AFTER they lunge at you. Sybil's slide seems to have no i-frames, and the boss's standard attacks have incredibly snappy tells, so 30% of the time I was being punished by trying to sneak single hits in between their regular swings. While during their lunge, they have a generous amount of recovery frames for you to get in proper hits. After like, ten minutes of being stuck on the guy, I finally beat them in about a minute while following this strategy. Hope this helps someone.
Only 2 bosses but pretty cool bosses nonetheless. Do the bosses have official names to them? Edit: Just found out the 1st boss is actually named Strong Eyes and the Final Boss is just called The Princess I think.

sounds plausible

I need sybil to wake me up too

Sybil is basically Klonoa

Sad there are only three :(
Does this game have a “true” ending or is this the true ending. I beat the game and I want to know if their is another ending or not?
The thing I dont like is how you get powers and abilities and in the end you still dont use 60% of those abilities to fight the princess
1:00 whats the easiest strat to beating this guy? There is no evade so far and all i have is a slide in which i still get hit.
Slide into him, try to stay on his back.ost of his attacks try to catch you when you run.

I basically ended up handling it dark souls style. Dodge and hit, repeat until dead.
Remember you can attack while moving, so keep moving around him and he will miss you, and don't stop attacking.
Looks like an old game
It does, but plays like a new one! Released Yesterday as well
You either hate it or you love it
@@shmeatmachine3980 I for one love how it looks better than modern graphics
@@SgtLemon1 Yea it gives me heavy nostalgia with its n64/dreamcast vibe and if you turn off the artificial retro settings, it looks so clean
@@shmeatmachine3980looks like some PC games we see in the 90s

according to the wiki, they're the warden and the princess
@@thebaseandtriflingcreature174Sweet thanks for the heads up and letting me know. Also just found out the 1st boss’ name is Strong Eyes.
