🎶”Shot through the heart and you’re to blame, darlin’ you give love a bad name” 🎶 Iconic 🎸
Richie Sambora...totally underrated as a guitarist plus his vocals are as good!
Richie was the heart and soul of that band.
He is just wonderful. Something so compelling about him (and his talent).
Richie's vocals are good, but not good enough to go solo. He tried that and bombed.
I think there was a number of reasons his solo career didn’t work out but not because of his vocals.
@@roxannemoser bombed commercially, but what's that say, given the crap that does sell.
Richies solo stuff hits deep.
One thing to know about Jon Bon Jovi is he is a great humanitarian as well. He has a restaurant set-up called The Soul Kitchen where people in need can eat without having to pay. Genuine guy.
Jessica That's was gonna be my fun fact.
Saw them in concert once. General admission. Wormed my way up to the front.
Even better -- there are no prices. You pay what you think it is worth, given the cause and all.
Bon Jovi! These guys used to know how to sell millions of records around the world by releasing addictive rock songs you couldn't get out of your mind.
"This band is a flash in the pan" ~My Dad, 1986. He'd be wrong.
BAHAHAHA!!!! That one got me!! My mother said basically the same thing!! Thanks for the laugh and Rock on girl!!! ;) ;)
@@michaelgilbert197 My mom went to a few Bon Jovi shows with me and my sister!! She loves them!✌❤🎶😁
Dad wasn't really wrong. I was 21 in 86. I knew they had staying power because Bruce Springsteen helped Jon quite a bit, but, they're a band that when they come to town, I don't start working overtime for the best seats. Actually, I saw them once in 87. It was a good show, but not phenomenal.
Nah I agree with your dad awful banned adored by millenials who think they are being hip. (Not talking about the guy reacting his cool) I did used to to love living on a prayer though. And I'm 28 so I'm a millenial.
Bon jovi has a great songwriting team consisting of Jon and Richie Sambora.
I've seem them live 17 times and the energy and upbeat in those shows never disappointed...except one time..not disappoint in a musical way though...they were HUGE during the "Slippery When Wet" tour that one time, you could barely hear the music due to the audience singing over them!
If you are a band and you are still going and selling albums after over 30 or more years, they have to be doing something right!
They're in my top ten of my all time favorite bands.
Thank you!✌❤🎶😁
Bon Jovi still stands up today. Everyone loves this music. Classic xxx
My favorite Bon Jovi song is "I'll Be There for You", LOVE that song
Same here! Love that song ❤️
My favourite !
Oh be still My teenage heart 😂damn i was crushing on him sooo bad 😜💖
Me too 😍 and he is still so good looking
I really like(d) Jon but Ritchie was it for me back then.
"was"? that man aged beautifully (both inside and out) I'm still like that teenage girl crushing on him
I still am 👀
I had the honor of being an 80’s teen who got the honor 4 years ago in my mid 40’s to see Bob Jovi live for the first time. I was NOT disappointed……Jon has a voice and an energy that does not quit, and I can tell you with zero hesitation, that there is NOTHING more inspiring than 30,000 people singing Living on a Prayer, in unison with Bob Jovi, as the finale encore to an amazing show. The energy and synergy is something I will never forget❤️❤️❤️
Been to so many concerts, I lost count but Bon Jovi is lit. It’s pure stunning music. You pay for seats you never sit in. You are on your feet singing and dancing the whole time. He will be touring again. Look for the announcement. You need to go.
BTW…. GNR just announced their tour. They are touring with Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang. Got my tickets for September.
So you`re the pain in the ass that stands up in front of people and blocks their view.
@@billcomics no…. I am the pain in the ass at pays for third row tickets. Since most arenas have seating that elevates each row, we all stand. Everyone can see. Jealousy is an ugly thing!
Saving up for my tickets to the August show! So excited to see them again!
@@billcomics who sits thru a concert?
Bon Jovi, probably the biggest thing from the 80's are pretty close to it. Go on a Bon Jovi run of songs, do Runaway.
And, if you do this, do some of the band Poison.
Jay would you go back to the 70s And React to Nazerth there SONG HAIR OF THE DOG You will thank me It was A HUGE HIT IN THE SUPER 70s
@@theodoreritola9758 I am little too young for that but that is what my dad listened too. Great music. Nazareth, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, UFO, Rainbow, The Who, Rush. An awesome era of music.
@@robertcherman O Ya he had great taste THE 70s were so huge for great rock music Look at all the GREAT Bands formed in the 70s Van Helen Areosmith Journey Foriegner , The Eagles , AC,DC , Boston TOTO , The Cars The Police Blondie just a few bands that came from the 1970s
Ohhh man, now this is a tune. You should react to 'Always' by Bon Jovi. It's a gorgeous rock ballad ❤️
When bon jovi hit the scene...it was almost like their songs were everywhere..their hair style their clothes...almost everywhere, you could almost trip over a bon jovi cassette anywhere..lol
Bon Jovi is an example of a "hair band". Hair bands were wildly popular in the eighties and known for long hair, wailing electric guitars, and high energy concerts.
Bed of Roses is my favourite Bon Jovi song, awesome band! Great video as always
Great song!!! :)
Mine too!
My second favorite band, behind the Beatles! This was one of their many #1 hits. :) *Fun fact:* Even though their videos look like live performances, they are actually the studio versions with the crowd noise added.
Love this song!!! And Bon Jovi is one of my favorite 80s group!!
Yessssssssssssssss😍😍 Their song “Wanted Dead or Alive “ is a must! Great ballads are “ I’ll be there for you”. “Never Say Goodbye” and “Bed of Roses.” Rabbit hole of HITS-❤️👍✌️
This song, much the same as "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard, are both great arena rock tunes. I think you would like "Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi.
Absolutely love Bon Jovi, this is one hard working group from Jersey that deserves their iconic standing.
Bon Jovi is amazing live. I highly recommend going if you ever have the chance. The energy in the crowd at their show is unbeatable. Everyone knows every lyric and sings along.
I would like you to React to “Lay Your Hands on Me” --“Bad Medicine”--“Wanted Dead or Alive”---❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for today’s reactions!❤️🔥
I can see in my recommendations that he's already reacted to "Wanted Dead or Alive", just thought I'd let you know, if you want to see it :)
I saw him in Miami in the 80s. One of the best 80s hair bands!!
Of you want to see how he entered the stage and started the concert, back in the day, watch 'Lay Your Hands On Me' it was superb and unique and amazing live. 😊
Gotta give some props to Richie Sambora's guitar skills. Oh how I wish he and Jon could patch up their differences.
One of best groups and songs ever
Best band ever bon what a group
Jay works hard on these video please give a thumbs up Comment and sharing these with fb and twitter
My favorite by them. Bon Jovi was the best. Slippery When Wet was one of their best albums. A lot of black people didn't like rock in the 80s but I did. Don't forget the song I requested....GROOVELINE by HEATWAVE
I’ll be There For You, Always, Runaway, It’s My Life, Born To Be My Baby..There’s so many!!
Bon Jovi- These five words I swear to you and It’s my Life
Bon Jovi is glam rock gold...
Bon Jovi concerts were awesome back in the day. It's not the same because you have chairs. Floor was standing. Packed like sardines. Great times.
This is my wife's ringtone. She had bought tickets to go see them last June but was canceled due to COVID. We did get our money back tho.
Oh, massive bummer.
I saw them live in Hamburg/Germany back in 1993 and it was, hands down, one of the greatest concerts I have been to. I couldn't remeber the exact year, so I googled it and just found out, that this hole concert is on CZcams. It's 2 am here in germany and my bed won't see me for the next two hours, because I have to watch this concert now!
MAN YOU NEED TO TRY LEVEL 42 "LESSON IN LOVE"
They really had some real bangers
"Lay Your Hands On Me",
"Let It Rock" ,"Raise Your Hands" and "I'd Die For You", are good examples
"Bed Of Roses" is a great song awell
They do epic concerts, I've seen them 7 times!
'Wanted Dead or Alive' would be a great song to react to next.
He hasn’t done that one yet? Oh man, he’s gonna LOVE that one.
My fave band of all time! Check out Born to be my Baby & This Ain't a Love Song! My 2 faves!
Born to be my baby is favourite song of theirs.🤘
@@bluebird9047 It's awesome!! I love the video too!!
Epic epic epic ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Every time this song and Iron Maidens Run to the hills gets played my husband turns 20 again and his eyes shines 😂
Bob Marley said music brings humans together..All humans ..War doesn't work....he was correct.
one of the best songs ever. You should react to his new song
The 2020 album. Some very emotional songs.
I love ❤️ this song 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 check out “I’ll be there for you” next.
Yes!
Just popping these videos out back to back heck yeah!!!
this is a ridiculously amazing record. its a studio version but the video includes audience effects for the live vibe. so well produced. and so much hair going on
Fun fact - this song started out as a Bonnie Tyler track written by Desmond Child, "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)." When that song wasn't a hit, Desmond reused the basic elements of the chorus but changed the lyrics and wrote new verses. Bon Jovi's version of course was a monster hit.
Really loved Bon Jovi in the '80s. Their first four albums were amazing! Other great songs of theirs 'Runaway,' 'Bad Medicine' and 'Born To Be My Baby.' :)
I think "Always" highlights Jon's vocal range. It's a beautiful song.
“Lay Your Hands on Me” awsome video, my fav from Bon Jovi. Best concert experience
You can never go wrong with Bon Jovi, just about anything you could choose to react to from them would be incredible! My personal favorite of his is "Always", that's my most favorite I guess you could say but I'd also love to see you check out some of my other favs as well, "Bed of Roses", "Wanted Dead or Alive", "Blaze of Glory" just to name a few. Can't wait to see more from them!! Thanks for a great reaction as always!!
One of the best songs from my childhood. Bon Jovi does it again.
What performers in the 1970. Real music. I miss bands !
I remember Jon Bon Jovi always smiling…😁
Such a great band!!! 🎶
Proving once again that it is impossible to listen to "You Give Love A Bad Name" in its entirety without singing along by the end. 😆
My mom is OBSESSED with him. She’s seen him in concert so many times and flies all over the country to see him lol I used to run around head-banging to him when I was like 2 or 3 years old but when I got older I couldn’t take listening to him in front of her. I haven’t lived with my mom for 22yrs so I can deal with it with her here and there now 🤣
I remember working 26 hours straight and listening to this 80-90s show on the radio in the middle of the night. Was listening to Wind of change singing it loud then I said to myself "I need You give love a bad name now". What happened? That was the next song. God singing that out loud helped me stay awake.
They command an audience for sure!
This was my First concert I ever went to.. Cinderella Opened for them!!! It was so Badass !!!! These guys could Rock!!!
A Bon Jovi Concert was an event!! Besides the infectious music, what showmen they are. OMG I am still crushing on Richie Sambora.
Slippery When Wet was one of the best albums of the 80s period.
This was the first single from their 1986 album “Slippery When Wet” album. “Livin on a Prayer” was the second single. Talk about a one two knockout punch
The first mega hit off Slippery When Wet, the album that sent them into the stratosphere. Saw them in 1987 on this tour, and in the dozens of concerts I have been to I have never seen as many women at any of them...not even close. As a teenager I thought it must certainly be heaven
Another band I've seen live in concert. They were so good that when I got home that night, I immediately bought another ticket for the next day. They brought the energy... they brought the fun. 😍
For a “newer” Bon Jovi song, I’d recommend It’s My Life”. Love all of their stuff! Jon Bon Jovi is even a decent actor
Loved them so long. John, the singer, is also a really charitable dude. I have mad respect for him.
Saw them in February 1987 on the Slippery When Wet tour. To this day it is still the best live show I've seen, and I've seen a lot. What a great show!
I started listening to Bon Jovi just as Jon cut off his hair, so it took me a moment to recognize him and remember that oh yeah, it used to be long.
The Slippery When Wet album produced soooo many Bon Jovi hits 🎶
I’ve seen Bon Jovi five times in concert. They put on an awesome show. Jon is now 59 and doesn’t sing like he use to but I’m a faithful fan.
My favorite Bon Jovi song is "Bed of Roses", and I can't recommend it enough!
I remember as a kid thinking wow love is not perfect.
Great Bon Jovi song
Ohhhhh!! Love em’!!! I had 33 Picture albums of this Band in the 80’s, 90’s! Rockin down the Venue everywhere they went!
Bon Jovi were the shit, back in the day! One of my top favorite rock bands. 👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Seem them several times in the 80’s. Always great performance and got money worth.
Most "live" looking videos before the 2000s weren't actually live. Just recorded during concerts then had the album track placed over it.
My stepdad was given the single by a DJ from a local radio station in Suffolk... saying it was awful,I was like WHAT !!! This stands up even decades later as awesome ooh n it's still got grrrhhh 😎
Bon Jovi songs still give me chills.
Neil patrick harris probably smashed the like button on this
😂😂😂

@@lucassales9485 yes indeed lol
Say what you want but my favorite Bon Jovi song will be always “Always “ that is a masterpiece that tears my heart apart always 🥺💖💖💖
🎵 Jay! Here are some of Bon Jovi's TOP hits from '84-'00 🎵
🔥Runaway - 1984
❤Never Say Goodbye - 1986
(Bon Jovi's beautiful ballad)
🔥Lay Your Hands On Me (absolute banger) - 1988
❤I'll Be There For You - 1988
🔥It's My Life - 2000
Side note: How freaking great
is the name of their 3rd album?
"Slippery When Wet" 🤣
This song always takes me back to 1986 6th grade party that I was invited to where we put on shiny 80's hairband wigs and air guitared this song.
Ok, now you talking. Fell in love with him in 6th grade. Mrs. Carter's class. Thank you Billy for introducing us to them.
I've seen BJ three times. Twice in UK and once in MSG, NYC...all amazing. Great band, true rockers.
If I was given a chance to attend any concert that ever has taken place, it’d definitely be one of Bon Jovi’s concerts in the 80’s. They were just totally crazy awesome back then. I grew up in 90s and was a big fan of Bryan Adams (whose concerts are absolutely great as well), but still… always wished I could experience Bon Jovi live.
The whole album, Slippery When Wet is amazing 👏
Your a a legend bro 🙌🏻 keep up the positive vibes
Been a while since the last Bon Jovi reaction. Glad you didn't forget! Lol
In the early 90s I named a foal ‘The Hitman’. Stable name ‘Tico’. Both names from my Bon Jovi love inspired by the drummer Tico ‘The Hitman’ Torres. Funny thing is, it wasn’t even my foal but a friends on the yard, somehow I managed to pull it off 😂!
Their concerts were absolutely a lot of fun 😉🥰😁✌️
This is a great song. Even those who did not like heavy metal liked this song back in the day.
The song is fire, quintessential 80s song ❤❤❤
It was impossible to not sing along when this came on the radio 👍
Oh that was fun! Thanks for that - such a great time - though, Oh My Goodness, I'd forgotten the 80s love of BIG hair ;) Straight back to my youth :D
Ahh the day of the perm, I remember it well! Love Bon Jovi.
Saw them in Sydney, Australia in 1989 as a teenager. We were a few rows from the front. My first ever concert. Pretty awesome!
Jimmy Eat World is from Mesa, Arizona and on their single "Casino" they sing
"I'll accept with poise, with grace
When they draw my name from the lottery
And they'll say "All the salt in the world couldn't melt that ice"
I'm the one who gets away
I'm a New Jersey success story
And they'll say "Lord give me the chance to shake that hand"
They said they wrote the New Jersey lyric because there seemed to be nothing that compared to being a rock star from New Jersey. Bon Jovi and Bruce got all the love.
I saw them in concert in the early 90s. Awesome band.
Concerts were so incredibly fun and wonderful back in the day. : )
Great reaction. Have you heard of Status Quo, great band.
I so agree and I really enjoyed the one concert of theirs I went to.
