We cannot forget how she was a big leader and pusher of the Obama birther fallacy, how she pushed and helped drive us into her father's war in Iraq based on lies, how she's voted consistently for every over-bloated military budget, escalating armament systems and against a no-first-use nuclear weapons policy as a consistent war hawk, how she's voted against virtually every environmental/park/wildlife protection and regulation, against all gun control bills, against all abortion rights, against all corporate regulations, for every corporate tax cut, bailout and subsidy, and how she was a big part of the Trump movement during his Presidency, one of his TOP supporters in Congress in fact, voting for Trump-supported right-wing legislation 93% of the time - even more than Mark Meadows before he was plucked out of Congress to be Trump's faithful Chief of Staff. Like Kornacki said the dems would have to essentially draw an inside straight to come out with the majority at this point. On the positive side though the red wave turned out to be a red ripple and reversing the majorities in 2024 will be much easier than would be expected if that red wave had shown up. If the dem nominee for president in 2024 wins and has coattails we could see dems in control of the White House and both chambers of Congress again quite easily. And Trump's swing state election deniers all went down in a ball of flame on election night so Democracy has been largely saved from the corruption Trump tried to install.

Yes, neither of those two should be a candidate. Warnock hates white people, his ex wife was on TV one time, stating Warnock was a bad person, a terrible father and refused to pay child support. Then you have the allegations against Walker, who appears always to be struggling. Neither candidates, ran on a strong platform. The press went after Walker big time and pretty much left Warnock alone. No one mentioned Warnock's church sermons where he frequently demonized whites. Neither are considered the bright stars in the sky. At least Walker may not hate whites.

There was a lawsuit brought over Dem gerrymandering in NY state and the NY state Supreme court decided in favor of those complainants and caused the districts to be drawn in a manner that decreased Dem chances in the NY state US House elections as well as in the state House elections for the NY legislature.

The NY Supreme court handed down a decision in a lawsuit that killed Dem efforts to gerrymander NY districts to their favor. Gerrymandering is a common practice throughout competitive states in the US but that state court decision screwed the Dems out of committing that common practice in NY.

No Steve, NY districts flipped because of redistricting. NY Dems had a terrible plan that overreacted. Dem gains in Obio and elsewhere were the converse. Good redistricting plans helped them. CA, no idea how that works out.

Maybe it's a new district but the area was part of a red district?
If it's a brand new district then the party that wins it gains one seat that the other party is then denied. Flip might not be the correct terminology but the result is the same.
@@rhmayer1 It's a new District, 450 MILES long, designed to include many of the smaller communities on the East side of the Sierra's. It was slightly more Republican based on 2020 election before new Districts were Established.
