  • Long overdue, it's time to show my trip to Washington D.C. from back in 2018! We're at Ronald Reagan/Washington National Airport Station, located along the WMATA Metro's Blue and Yellow lines.
    I love the scene set by the elevated station outdoors on this rainy September day. It's my favorite aesthetic for filming! I was thrilled to film this even with it being the first thing I did after I arrived. Hope you enjoy!
    For anyone who might ask, the plane in the thumbnail is not to scale :)
    Filmed with Sony HDR CX440 and Zoom H1 on 9/24/2018.

    Have u ever notice there is a middle track

    • @NTxRE
      @NTxRE  Před 4 lety

      Yes, I'd imagine this accommodates the longer dwell times that the trains experience from passengers with luggage

      Thats for where the train ends

    • @Reallynow101
      @Reallynow101 Před 3 lety +2

      It’s a pocket track. If the train needs to reverse ends or transfer from track 1-2 or 2-1 for single tracking or a disabled train on either platform in the traveling direction.

      I love the MTA for how complex it is and how much it accomplishes, so it's still my favorite. But absolutely, without a doubt, the WMATA is the coolest looking transit system I've been to. I love the trains and station design a lot.
