- Hi guys! In this video we talk about the things I did to get my husband and stepdaughter’s visas approved. There are 3 major things you should do to get your visa approved. Of course, I cannot guarantee your visa approval, but I’m sharing my experience of things I did that I believe helped me be successful not one but 2 times. Hopefully, these will be helpful to you as well.

Hi guys! Hope you are well. I wanted to share the things I think were helpful in getting my husband and my stepdaughter’s visas approved. Although there is never a guarantee of your visa being approved, I truly believe these things were relevant to our success. And I think if you apply them they will definitely help your immigrant visa case in a positive way as well. Thanks for watching! Always love your videos! So very helpful. I began watching your videos a year and a half ago. You are a blessing to black women who are married to African husbands. My husband is from Kenya and we are doing consular processing. And after 2 1/2 years we are finally at the NVC stage getting ready to submit our documents. We have been through a lot together. But thanks to videos like yours it has really helped me to become knowledgeable about the process and stay the course. Keep up the good work. God bless you for helping us.😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
Awww! Thank you!! ☺️ 🥰 Your comment warms my heart! I’m so happy I’ve been a help to you. And congrats to making it to the NVC stage, you are almost to the finish line. Wishing you and your husband all the best. I’m here if you need me. ❤️❤️
Sis you are the GOAT of the immigration process. If people watch ALL your videos and listen closely you give all the gems. There are so many ways to get a visa for your spouse that is outside the box! Visa Journey is a treasure trove of info. I have to thank you for that😎 I was able to get my husbands CR1 approved in 3 months and upon entry to the US a 10 year permanent residency. All while telling the truth and painting a picture of our relationship, my husband did all the work in his interview talking about us. Thank you for creating this channel!! We appreciate you and your family!!
Aww sis, thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰I appreciate you!! That’s awesome that you guys were able to get approved in 3 months. Congratulations!! It feels good to know that I’m helping others in some way. Just trying to be the person I wish I had when I initially went through the process. ❤️❤️❤️

Very informative and helpful video still hanging in there 😊
Thank you! 😊 So glad it’s helpful.
Nice video I would just like to have a little detail have you updated your F2a category for IR category? Thank you sista 🙏🏾
hiii....such a helpful video.. ir2 pd=2021..i got dq in may 2023....waiting for my interview appointment..im from ghana
Hi, glad my video was helpful! Awesome, I hope you get your interview appointment date soon!
Great video, I got DQ in June 2023 still waiting on my interview date, 😢 at the Ghana embassy. Any idea around which time I could be getting a date ?
Hi, it took us about 14 months from DQ to interview date. So, if I had to guess about 1-2 years for a date. So, around summer/fall of this year, anywhere between June 2024 possible up to early 2025. But, of course, there’s no way to know for sure. I pray it’s sooner for you. 💛
Hi there, I got DQ in August 2023 for an immigrant visa and still waiting on my interview at Ghana embassy. Any guess when to get an appointment
Hi, Ghana is definitely behind. My guess would be at the end of this year going into early 2025. I’m thinking between a 1-2 year window for an interview date. Hopefully, it’s shorter for you. Unfortunately, there’s no way to know for sure. Wishing you all the best. 🤍
Thanks
Hii,
Initially we processed the f2a category case through a lawyer while my case was in nvc they didn't perform well like they got almost 10 months to submit my civil documents my husband was the petitioner hence after immense patience we ourselves submitted other documents like join sponsor thing and all, now I got my interview date
The broblem is my husband's l-864 is in lawyer's hand I couldn't get it from him but I need to bring it for my interview
Now can you tell me the sollution to this please???
Hi, I suggest filing out the form again, resubmit it in the NVC’s CEAC portal and take the new copy with you to interview.
Nice work . Very True
Any thoughts on timeline for Permanent Resident filing for minor child . DQ Dec 2022. Still waiting for interview at Accra embassy 😢😢😢.
Hi, thanks. There seems to be anywhere from a 10 months to 2 year time difference between the processing time for a U.S. citizen vs a permanent resident. And it appears we were DQ around the same time, so just taking a guess, I would assume you would get an interview date sometime around this time next year. Like approximately up to a year after the date we received our interview date. Of course, we don’t know for sure, but this would be a reasonable expectation. I haven’t heard from anyone else who is a LPR waiting for interview at Ghana embassy. Hopefully, someone can share if so.
@@Marriedtotheculture I so much appreciate your time whenever you respond to me and everyone who asks for your thoughts 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.Blessings 🔥
@@kennymoore9281 you’re welcome. I know how it feels to be in limbo just waiting and waiting. Hang in there!!
We would live to apply for Daniel’s brother. Is that possible?
Daniel as a green card holder can apply for his brother (or wait until he gets citizenship either is fine).Keep in mind it will be a longer process. However, as a U.S. citizen in-laws are not considered immediate relatives. It’s so many loopholes.
@@Marriedtotheculture thank you!
Nice video I would just like to have a little detail have you updated your F2a category for IR category? Thank you sista 🙏🏾
Hi, thank you! Are you asking if I updated my category? If so, no because my category has always been IR because I’m a U.S. citizen filing the petition. Hopefully, I’m not misinterpreting your question???
@@Marriedtotheculture Thank you sister I got it may God bless you Thank you for the answer 🙏🏾😁
