I think I've looked at every video on CZcams to see how to do a men's haircut. Just bought clippers and no idea how to use them. This is by far, BY FAR, the easiest video to follow. Thank you very much!!!!!

Thank you, my kid is autistic and refuses to go to the barber so I have always had to buzz cut it before. He hates that as then the kids call him am egg head. This was a great video as it was easy to follow and looks good. Thank you again x

I've just cut my son's hair and this is almost what I did. Reviewing this video for extra tips before I do my partner's hair. Slightly different styles though but extremely useful video. One has all one length on back and finger length on top. Other has gradient on both back and top. Thank you

Glad to see a professional finds it hard to cut with scissors while looking in the mirror, too. I felt like such a idiot! For those of us who prefer a pixie style cut, highly recommend getting some larger guards. Did mine with mostly the #8. Will definitely buy some thinning or blending shears as soon as places have them in stock again! Seems everyone has the same idea.

Ok, I'm armed, ready & possibly dangerous! Got my hubby pinned down & I'm going in, if I make a dog's dinner of his mullet the upside is his hair grows super fast, so by the end of lockdown nobody will be any the wiser & it will be ready for another trim, the downside being the kids will have a good laugh, wish me luck 😆
Great training thanks. I started scissor cutting my hubby’s hair now he prefers mine than the barbers. So I bought a VS hair trimmer for Christmas and wasn’t sure how to use it. This is a great guide.

I'm having a go tomorrow Monday 18th May on my husband we are both mid seventies and on 12 week isolation if I make a mistake at least we cant go out for another 6weeks or more time for it to grow lol

I have a mains Wahl and never made a good job but with your "up and away" technique I have gone from scruffy Neanderthal (apols to any Neanderthals watching ) to Tsssss ! Oww ! ..... my mirrors are busy today . I did a 4 all over then a 3 up and away and over 5 inches of scruff bag are now in the bin. Power to Lockdown Locks . Thanks , have a pint on me George . Hi George excellent video. Ive been clipping my own hair for 17 years but it's a number 1 economical cut even that takes a bit of practice. I wouldn't do somebody else's unless it's a number 1 .

Great video! I am a grade 1 back and sides guy with grade 5 on top, sounds easy, i'll be giving it a go. Clippers are ready to go as I am fed up of grade 1 all over now!
I found this video to be Very Educational and usefull. Your live demonstration has encouraged me. Covid19 and being in isolation has created a situation demanding we learn New Skills like cutting one's own Hair. I should learned these skills Years ago. Thanks again for the video.
Thank you George - my hair was driving me nuts 12 weeks since the last cut. Remembered we had some clippers in the cupboard and wifey did the honours (after a glass or two of wine!)

just cut my own hair, looks good to me much easier then i thought! thanks for the tips shaved with the blending like you said then i just trimmed/cut my longer hair on top the length i wanted by doing section at a time that was actually the hardest part to cut your own hair with scissors.

Thank you for giving me the confidence to give my DH a quarantine haircut. It turned out quite well, and most importantly, he's really happy with the results! Now if only I could better channel your technique for a DIY cut like the one you instructed Alexa Chung to do on herself. My recent attempt was not as glorious. Sigh.

Informative video. Getting a personal appointment in my salon is the same. just remember we have comb and scissors , not magic wands! When we reopen, they will be queueing like at a supermarket!!
Thank you very much for your easy to understand tutorial. I have given myself a short back and side and i think that it is passable. From the front it is of the quality I'd be happy with from a barber The tapering at the back may not be quite perfect (I can't see it clearly) but following your instructions I did a lot better than I feared.
This will help my son when he gets out of the military. For now, I'm going to use your tips on my husband. Now, if only you could teach me how to thread my eyebrows? 🤣
Followed your tutorial, was great. Very happy with the results, although the top is still quite long, could you do a tutorial on how to cut long hair at the top?
