I can hear your frustration with the comments section. Most people don't want to put in the effort to understand their salvation. They want to be told what to do and it should only cost an hour or so of their time and some dollars in the collection basket each week. If it were truly important the silver tongued father at their church would tell them so. I am greatly benefiting from your channel. May YAH continue to favor all that you do.

Luke has a better explanation in that they were ‘disciples’ first, but it seems odd that Jesus would then add and adopt a secondary term, (apostle) a title first used by satan who said he would bring confusion ?
This can only be due to amendments made by later scribes to blend them together into Christianity rather than the two distinct factions that existed.
Disciple is a follower, faithfully passing on the true gospel. Apostle is a messenger (potentially from anyone) and for this reason Im not convinced the Latin text as written is genuine when we know the text has been altered in many areas and the false gospel is preached first.
