driver A does same as driver B, owner's responsibility. EDIT: blame the engineering, not the driver... it could've been driver A or B.

Thing is aftermarket (better) diffs are probably a fraction of the OEM diff price. Not sure who makes them for these german whips though...

It's a weird and unwritten rule I guess.. Does come down to the situation a lot. I have a Nissan gtr.. I'm not a tight ass with it and always let friends drive it but they all know the risks and I've made it clear, you break it you buy it.. Could it sadly be something that was gonna eventually break anyway ? Possibly so but if it happens when you're ripping it then sadly you gotta pay the piper. Dont feel like driving the gtr after hearing the " break it buy it " rule. All fine by me.

No car is unbreakable, new or old mate, if you slam the launch control constantly something is gonna break, car is under the most pressure when launching..
on a pre-facelift C7 RS6 (2012-14) these things happen, the facelift (2015-18) are a lot stronger upgraded propshaft, clutch packs, cooling and a uprated diffs .But if you punch it all the time and launch it when ever you can ANY car with explode no car is bulletproof

J Gripen The facelift (2015-18) are a lot stronger, upgraded propshaft, uprated clutch packs, cooling and the rear differential has been upgraded. The pre-facelift models (2012-14) had the read diffs and propshaft from the 3 litre turbo diesel A6 I believe
Adam Mills the diff was from the A6 tdi with the facelift ones too.
