One way prosecutors provide prove the defendant was not insane, is by showing that the defendant did the crime, fled from the crime, made remarks about the crime, hid evidence and eluded capture. This man did all the above. He did this because he was a criminal that committed a crime and in order to elude capture and hide evidence, he killed an officer that was enforcing the laws he broke. While almost everyone, regardless of their skin tone, get nervous when they are pulled over, the thought that they have been caught breaking the law or that they may have broken a law, gets them nervous. It may be speeding, a broken brake light, swerving or odd erratic movement, regardless of what it is, it is a natural reaction to get nervous when an authority figure is confronting you with an issue. What is not natural however, is that you, having nothing to hide and unaware of any law you have broken, to be defiant to the authority, shoot and kill them and then flee and elude and hide evidence. If you are innocent, why then commit murder of a law enforcement officer? And if you did nothing wrong, why run and hide? Only those that have something to hide, hide.

He keeps repeating that they caught him based on a tip but says there will be no reward paid out. There was over $60,000 in reward money put out by 3 agencies for any tip that leads to the arrest of this man. Why isn’t it being paid to the person that gave this tip? Odd! Glad they caught him. Shouldn’t take a reward to do the right thing but when one is promised, should be paid. Prayers and condolences to this victim’s family! Give the reward money to them!

Also the shooters gf or wife was on way to scene and probably could of talked him out. Soooo many shoulda woulda coulda's in this situation. I feel for the officers families. I mean I understand nobody wants to go to jail, but when you commit a crime & get caught you gotta just deal with it & go through the process... he would not have been in prison forever had he just done what a man should of done... but now only God knows what his sentence will be... all because he wanted to whine like a 2 year old & disobey police orders...
