- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in France on Sunday for a state visit and talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. The latter is expected to focus talks on trade and the Ukraine war. European leaders are hoping to see Xi pushing Russian President Vladimir Putin to accept some compromise and negotiate an end to the war.

As far as Ukraine war is concerned, it is not going to completely end in this decade. Even if they reach some kind of peace deal now, it will again start when we get closer to 2030. Europe has though time ahead, There will be internal fights and internal unrest as well.
Europe struggles to compete with China due to their focus on constant warfare instead of investing in development. Finding the necessary funds to create affordable goods becomes a challenge for Europe. Ultimately, a decision must be made on whether a war economy benefits Europe or not. It is important to note that China is not the root of the issue.
