    2022?No, it is 1941 when all think Russia will lose. 2023? No, it is 1942 when Russia started to mobilize all their resources. 2024 is 1943 when Russians are advancing forward, while 2025(1944) and 2026(1945) will show who wins. History repeats.

    I think it is rather despicable of you to try and make an anti Putin propaganda piece out of the Russian Victory Day commemoration. It is not a myth that something over 20 million died in that war just as it is not a myth that many British soldiers have lost their lives in service that we commemorate annually on Remembrance Day. I don't expect you to celebrate along with the Russians but you could just ignore it instead of trying to denigrate it.
    I wondered whether Ukraine would try to embarrass Putin with a drone attack today but they did not. Maybe they are simply too weak but I like to think that even amidst all the ongoing carnage they thought an attack on such a day was inappropriate.

Eternal memory to the legendary French pilots of Normandy Neman, who fought together with Soviet soldiers against the fascist reptile. They did not disgrace the honor of great France. The memory of them is preserved in Russia.

    I urge anyone who is interested to search for a timelapse video called “WW2 everyday with army sizes” to understand the insane sacrifice of human life along the eastern front. All other battles throughout the war, including the western front simply pale in comparison. To say that this sacrifice was a myth is an insult to humanity!

    Right... What they forgot to mention though is that Russia has been grinding through the heavily fortified since 2014 defensive lines of Ukraine in the areas best fitted for such fortifications, and soon there will be a lot of open spaces lying in front of the Russians.

    France did not sacrifice a significant number of heroes because they fell shortly after the WW2 started...and stayed there till they were liberated when USSR (and UK to a little extent) eventually won.

    What many people fail to understand is despite Russia is not taking that much territory, the aggressive attrition is taking heavy toil on Ukraine society and Ukraine military strength eg Ukraine have almost run out of his total mobilization and almost totally depend on outsiders for weapons, let assume the war continues for the next 3years with this aggressive pace will discover that 10thousand stronger army will take entire region in few days without much resistance, the territory does not matter much in this conflict
