  • Through a duet of poetry and self-reflection, choreographer Crystal Pite finds language to describe the wordless artform of dance. Glimpses into a rehearsal for her acclaimed work Revisor combined with images of natural and industrial forms, mirror the states of tension and connection within the human body.

“To be human, is to be danced by life.” Lovely conclusion to this short exposition of Crystal Pite’s thinking and process.

I don't understand half of what she says, I'm a state school kid, but her choreography crawls around in my chest and settles in my head like an animal.

Painfully poetic, euphorically sober 💚 dance 💚 her work and the dancer’s dedication.
