What are you thoughts on the Bike? Is Harley moving in the right direction by listening to their customer base?
I like them a lot. I really want a Fat Bob but, that Low Rider ST may change my mind!
Between the gas tank deference and performance orientation right from the factory, makes me wish this was available when I get my FatBob
Traded my 2019 fat bob for this and so far I love it… Harley thank you!!! it handles Great and it moves 3.2 sec 0-60 with me on it is my best and I’m sure I can do better with more seat time.. can’t imagine this bike with a 131 😎hmm 🤟✌️
@@mustangoutlaw 3.2 seconds. That's crazy quick. I hope the stock tyres are up to the task.
I’m between this and a fat boy. I know it’s a completely different animal, but man I can’t decide
Bought this bike two weeks ago and I have been going crazy with buying bike parts. The bike handles much like sport bikes I’ve had. Harley has a winner in this one.
Did you do taller bars?
@@mikeessary4925 nah I like the bars where they are.
Bro me too and my wallet is begging me to stop. Hahha
Great energy, this video alone makes me want to see more of your vids!!! Keep it up
I bought this bike in the same color a few weeks ago. It's an amazing bike. Changed the exhaust and the seat and it's perfect.
Same here. About a month ago. Loving it
Now I gotta go and test ride one! Maybe this weekend?! Nicely done FBB!
I swapped out my forward controls to mids on my HD 21 Sport glide. And I like it a lot better.
Long live the M8 LRS. Have a black '23 with CR483 cam and TBR pipe. Heavenly.
Hi i love the vid bruv ,i bought a new one today from robinsons harley davidson uk cant wait
I test rode one on Saturday and purchased it on Sunday. My first impression when twisting the throttle the first time was the same as your's...oh boy! The torque comes on immediately and stays on for longer then I've allowed myself on the highway (so far). I'm 5'6" and can flat foot it but the reach to the bars is a slight stretch so a pullback riser is probably in my future.
Nice review. Put some 10 inch kraus risers and bars and the ergos would be perfect for you.
got the exact same bike. put mx pegs and a sissy bar on it. love it.
Great job!
I bought my Fat Bob back in 2018, and at the time the Low Rider S (LRS) was not available, skipped that year for some reason. If the LRS was available when I bought the Fat Bob, I would have bought the LRS. Every time I saw an LRS pass by, I'd do a double take, it's such a beautiful/classic looking bike. I finally bit the bullet and traded my Fat Bob in on a 2022 Low Rider S. It's currently getting a Stage III and Bassani Sweepers exhaust installed. I also changed out the breather, did not care for how it looks, replaced it with a max HP Performance Machine. Can't wait for riding season to get out on the LRS. Stay safe out there.
Awesome set up! Which displacement did you end up going with?
@@FatBoyBob - I went with the screaming eagle stage III to keep the warranty, I think that takes the stock 117 to a 122. Even stock it’s plenty powerful tho.
One of the best reviews on this bike I've seen. Love the enthusiasm. I might be trading for one today
the guys @ Black Bear H-D are Awesome and by far the best H-D dealership that I have ever been to and purchased a bike from.
Have a whole video coming out about just them tomorrow! Make sure you come check it out!
Great vid man! I just bought a ‘23 LRS. People that say Harleys are slow, havent rode this bike.
Great review 👍
How about a review on the Heritage Classic 114. Then a comparison between the two.
Keep an eye out for that one.
Test rode a LRS at Thunder Beach and then immediately rode a Chief Darkhorse. And when it comes to making a decision, it is gonna be tough. They both ride so nice. The final decision may come down to the tech.
For me, they both handle very similarly, but both feel under the hands and feet very differently. Between what you like and the tech, hopefully you get what you want! Either way is a great choice!
How does this compare to the new 18+ fatbob?
I never rode the fat bob.. But I rode the low rider S and it felt teeter tottery when doing the "side to side scrubbing" and it wasn't a confident feeling.
Fat bob is a lot more planted and have to really push in your movements with the bigger front tire. I preferred the fat bob and use to have it!
Stoked
Late to the party, but sick video. A buddy of mine rode the 117 LRS, and he mentioned that it's a little more peppy which on a LRS says a lot.
Felt so much more in control than previous years too with the higher suspension and controls. Amazing how much different it felt with such small changes
I don't get why that color is popular now. It's on everything from jeeps to subcompact. Kinda bland to me.
I’m not crazy about it either.
I’m on the fence with it but at some point HD has to do something other than black which is my favorite color for everything
@@casheighty8 yeah but you can't go wrong with black. When clean it's the sharpest color
does it burn rubber?
That color tho!!! I should have got one of those bad girls
But now you’ll be able to build to something similar 😎
How tall are you does the ergonomie fit ?
5’11” with a 32” inseam. And a little hard to describe. My legs are a little more up in my chest and I’m leaned forward ever so slightly instead of sitting up right and straight. But it really is in a good way. It helps to make the bike feel more performance oriented and in control.
What brand and model is that helmet tho'? Looks sick
Thanks man! It’s Ruroc Atlas 3.0 El Diablo design. I have a whole video of it right here for you.

Truly disapointed on my side after a test ride....previously tested 114ci stage 2 wich was ways better...so maybe with another 10 grand it will be better ?? Oups...
I just put a deposit down on one. 😎
🔥🔥🔥
Why i would never buy a demo bike. Everyone ignores the breaking period on a demo ride! Love the bike, hate t-bars.
Moto style, drag bars, and apes are where its at. My opinion.
Ride a 2022 Rocket 3 and after riding this 2022 Low Rider S will feel like you've test-ridden a moped in comparison.
It’s in the to do list 👀
@@FatBoyBob ---My 2019 Road Glide Ultra with a 128-inch engine puts out 140 torque at 3,250 RPMs and after test riding 2020, Rocket 3 R in road mode, my 128 felt anemic in comparison. I was in 4th gear at 3,500 RPM on the Rocket 3R in road mode and when I shifted into 5th gear at 4,000 RPM's and 50 MPH, both of my arms were yanked straight HARD and my half helmet made neck snapped back very fast. I felt like I was going to be pulled off of the seat. I was shot from 50 MPH up to 80 MPH in about 2.3 seconds. Riding a Rocket 3 leaves a lasting impression that you never forget. The pulling power from 3,500-4,000 RPm's is just brutal!
There will always be something faster SMH
@@mikeessary4925 or everything faster if you own a Harley
You really think this bikes that much better than the 20 & 21 LRS?
Between the difference in foot pegs positioning, suspension, and engine, most definitely!
This is my first bike ever… im 41🥹😂
