THANK YOU so much for this video. This same rear control arm on the same side broke on me hitting a pothole, and with this video I managed to go to the junkyard and snag up a replacement that I’m putting on this weekend.
You should also make a video of the other side too for future DIY repairs👍🏾
To do the same job on the drivers side one will have to lower the differential a bit to be able to pull the bolt out which is at the inner end of the control arm.
I didn't remove the exhaust out of the way or took anything off the differential, just the little heatshield, a bracket with 4 13 mm bolts and 2 18mm bolts, when that is out of the way you can reach and undo the 2 18mm bolts that hold up the differential, I had a hydraulic jack under the differential to lower it, it's heavy! after that I could pull out the upper control arm bolt and finish the job.
Very well done, excellent well timed explanation and filming.

+sadiel1 Thank you for watching! Good luck on the repair! :)
Passenger side is fairly straight forward thinks to this video. Is there a video for the driver's side upper inner? Considerably more interference issues.
+Dean Gayon We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
