Hi y'all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in a Sprinter van! You can often find us scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, cuddling our fur child Kona, and dreaming about Hawaii.
We created Adventures of A+K to help busy, budget conscious, and adventurous travelers maximize their vacation time and money wherever they go through detailed travel guides, vlogs, and resources. Our goal: to help you spend less time (and stress!) planning your trip and more time enjoying it!

Love Vancouver but haven't been there since our honeymoon, 40+ years ago! Need to go again. Capillano Bridge was not that expensive when we were there!! lol That's the bridge that told me I was afraid of heights and once I got to the other side, I had to go back over it!! Kids were running and trying to swing it, OMG!! Never been to Gas Town, not even sure it was a thing back then but China town was the place to go. Love Stanley Park.
Ahhh swinging on those bridges is super scary! Capilano is really neat, but oof it's $$$ now. Stanley Park is one of our favorite things to do in Vancouver!

You gotta go to Steveston fishing village and heritage museum. Best fish n chips at Pajos.

We did exactly the same thing on our honeymoon (in 2019), we opted for Lynn Canyon and got the bridge to ourselves as well as the chance to swim in the waterfall and swim holes which was an amazing experience. Love your videos, just came across your channel and have subscribed. We have our own channel but are quite new to it all (S21 and Beyond).x

I love Lynn Canyon. Great for swimming in the summer too. The gun goes off everyday for time. It was set to go off for the ships that would have been in the harbour long long ago so everyone could be set to the same time. Sort of a standard timekeeper for the harbour.
We need to go back to Lynn Canyon in the summer! We have only been when it’s colder so no swimming for us lol! 🥶 Super cool to know about the gun, thanks for giving us some background on it! We really hope to hear it someday.

Aubade and the antique shop are now closed sadly; however Harken Coffee roasters (The same owner) is now open!
He had told us he was moving locations, but I think he operates as Harken Coffee now. We can’t wait to check it out next time! That antique shop location was SO cool though!

What do you do with Kona when you grab coffee or when you were at the markets in the last video? We love to take our pup for hikes, but we tend to skip on other experience where dogs aren’t allowed.

Oh nice!!! We went about a year ago and loved it! That area of Oregon is super cool. Do you live in Texas or Oregon? I always assumed Texas, but now I’m not sure.

It’s a surprise! 😉 But we did go to the Capitol for a tiny bit, ate lots of food, Town Lake, Soco, and Mount Bonnell!
