I live in a community in a rural, 15,000-person area in Northern California, USA. We are so fortunate that our local theater brings in both NTLive and the Met Live at the Opera. Every showing of NTLive has an audience hungry for wonderful theater, and NTLive never fails to deliver. I schedule my entire calendar around the NTLive showings--even though they are at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays. The absolute BEST! Thank you for giving us such enjoyment!
As an representative of an exhibitor in a community volunteer run cinema NTLive has been a total revolution. They are always extremely well attended (more than most other things) and the support the NTLive team provide and offer is amazing. Bringing the best theatre to a small humble area at a price that is genuinely affordable is opening a world of amazing work to people who simply wouldn't be able to otherwise, especially the student's of schools and the university the cinema is associated with.
NTLive highlights one of Britain’s proudest achievements that is the National Theatre, I love this space with a passion and loyalty, it continues to create great works from new and established writers and broadcasting these shows is truly something to be proud of, I only wished that more of it’s 20 productions a year more had this opportunity.
This has brought me so much pleasure since the broadcasts began. The broadcasts gave me the confidence to actually visit the theatre. Congratulations on 100 broadcasts.

NT Live is one of the things British theatre that makes me proud to be a theatre nerd. It’s made great shows accessible to the whole world. My first NT Live was Frankenstein cos I didn’t think I’d be able to get tickets for a show with such big names. I went back the next week to see it with the switched casting of Benedict and Jonny then decided I was going to phone up on the off chance of disabled access tickets. And what d’ya know, yesterday was the anniversary of seeing the play in person!
As my chronic illness has got worse I’ve been able to see plays on NT Live either at home or in the cinema that I wouldn’t have been able to see in London. Friends have also been to NT Live because I’ve talked so highly of it. Thank you for spreading the theatre love.
you ARE life-changing! you competely changed the idea of theatre with "A night accident.." then kept us mentally afloat during the lockdown with "midsummer night's dream" and "one man two guvnors". Your Premiers have become cultiral events, that we follow. You brought a whole new life approach here, 5500km from London. Live long, congratulations!
We have watched "Straight Line Crazy" with Ralph fiennes and "Macbeth" a few weeks ago. These plays are amazing and "Best of Enemies" "The Motive and the Cue" just stand out as fantastic entertainment - more please! from Melbourne Australia

It was because of NT Live that I got to watch Prima Facie 😢…. Grateful bec I live halfway across UK, hope it will be available again soon.

I have watched and lost myself in some of the superb productions and I too, have clapped and cheered in our local theatre . NT Live, a superb concept and always beautifully delivered. I saw 'Nye' last night, another great theatre experience to add to all those that I've seen before. London's theatre world, but only 15 minutes from home! Excellent!
We are going to the first screening in Melbourne at Cinema Nova this Saturday. Very much looking forward to it!
I think NT Live is such a brilliant idea. I'm gutted that I missed Skylight when it was in cinemas again last year. I wish they'd make it available on NT at Home, I'd pay the subscription for that alone.
I never missed the representations of the national theater Live, when I lived in Bogotá, Colombia, but in the city I live in now, Cartagena de Indias, the cinemas don't present them, will it be possible to watch them on the television at home by paying the ticket? I love Helen Mirren, she is one of my favorite actress. Thanks in advance
Went to see Nye in Sheffield.
My favourite has to be Frankenstein. I’ve seen both versions several times.
I worked in a local theatre/cinema which was an early adopter of live satellite performances (operas from NY) and we knew the National theatre plays would be a success. There was, however, quite a lot of difficulty explaining to some of our customers how it worked
“Oh, so it’s a film then?”
”No”
“So it’s like the television, a recording?”
“No”
I used to say “You’re seeing it as it happens and if the leading lady drops down dead on stage, you’ll see it!”
Also each show would take six months off my manager’s life as he scanned the weather forecast to see if there would be high winds which would shake the dish and lose the picture.
I'm so gutted my country doesn't have this at all, I'm seriously considering getting in touch with one of our distributors and pushing for them to contact you 💙

I live in Baltimore, Maybe USA . I have seen many of these productions but recently none of the theaters around me have been carrying them. Any chance you would stream them, for a subscription? You did that at the start of the pandemic and it was wonderful. It made great theater accessible

Congratulations. I’ve enjoyed quite in a few in the cinema, and subscribed briefly to NT@Home. I really wish that service had all 100, at least in rotation. The pickings are too slim for me to want to continue the subscription from month to month.
I only wish other theaters would do this-- this has brought theatre to me when I am unable to go now-they should do it at the end of the run , no conflict of interest.
So please put all 100 plays on NT at Home. We don't get NT LIve in any local cinema, and then they disappear. More than happy to pay for the presentation but you take them away. Not really "making them for everyone"
