I have had the the X1 Carbon, this machine, but less cool looking (love all the color you added), for about a month and it is truly game changing. As a classroom printer, the speed and ease of use are phenomenal. The basically plug and play ability is a must if you need a tool, rather than another issue to deal with. Great machine.

Yeah changing the AUX-Fan, extruder and hotend for example work 100% the same for X1Cs :)

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up czcams.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

  • @drpainsjourney

Just WOW! ..... I have been on CZcams for several years, and have seen A LOT of videos. Still, I am blown away how you present it!
I normally don't follow any CZcamsrs at all, but, here, I have to go and make an exception. I am now subscribed!
Furthermore, I have been in doubt, of what model I should buy. The answer is so clear for me now, Bambu Lab P1S is the answer.
Only thing I need to figure out, is this:
Can we change the low grade included 720p cam, to a 1080p?
I can see it got a nice flat cable, so I wonder if I just could use my Raspberry Pi 2mb camera instead?
I am really looking forward to your net video!
(sorry for all spelling errors etc., I am not English person at all)

I have to say the feet make the printer a little wonky. I would highly suggest making that the last thing to install as they make it more difficult to move the printer around when doing the other installs. As someone who got an X1C on the Kickstarter, it was fascinating to watch you do all the customization and the upgrades to add a lot of the functionality they stripped out in making the P1P. A lot of other CZcams content creators talk about what can be added, it was very interesting to actually see it happen step-by-step! I am curious how uch you spent on all the upgrades, and whether it was still less-expensive than just going with the X1C to begin with?

Very well done, I agree we need to see your cost worksheet. I thought the X1 had a larger volume too. I also thought the LIDAR was cool tech I have struggled with some 1st layer issues on my CR 10S Pro. I need to consider the screen too as i am much older I enjoy a larger screen. old eyes. Also it would open me up to use more specialized materials for my Model Train parts. Well done, see you again. Dennis

    • @tombeardy4833
      @tombeardy4833  Před rokem +2

      Hey Dennis! Thanks a lot!
First layer issues arent a thing with the P1P either :)
To be honest you dont rly use the screen, at least i only do for stopping a print if something goes wrong and i dont have the time to use my app or laptop :) But everyone is different :)
The costs are EU based €801 for the printer and roundabout €215 for the Upgrades. So considering the X1C is at 1349 you just need €100 and can already get the AMS in that price :)
      Thanks a lot!😊
