Both headlights would be affected. Along with every other symptom that he mentioned in the video. unfortunately you don’t just get one issue when this happens.

What was the initial issue that required the module to be repaired? And modules can simply be repaired? I thought if they go bad you'd need a new one.
The issue I had was no power windows, dash wouldn’t light up, and no lights inside, car starts though. And yes you can get FRM modules repaired

Hello Adrian, you only need to disconnect the negative terminal this turns all power off to the car directly, once you have the part reinstalled you can just connect the negative and that’s it!
I repair these Modules on the Table. common issues are no central locking and indicators not operating

Question ... what was the problem with the FRM on that car? What were the symptoms, why did you remove it and send it out? Great how-to video btw, very clear on how it is done, thank you.
I forgot to address this in the video, but the FRM module goes bad, the power windows stop working, dash lights stop working, and basically no power to majority of interior.
@@philipspov OK thanks. On the unit I have here, everything works except the drivers side windows/mirror switch block. No problems with any of those other systems mentioned. Windows do work from all other switches and the fob. Just nothing from the drivers switches. Am trying to figure out if it is this FRM thing or if it is something else. I have already tried replacing the switch block, no change.
Not sure what else it could be, but if your not having a problem with any of the other problems then it may be something else other than the FRM module

I disconnect the battery first then I put the Repair module then connect the battery again ?
Yeah first disconnect the battery, once you do that replace your old module with the repaired one and or new one, and reconnect the battery and it should work. Let me know if you need any other help.
Hi i put the old one repair and reconnect the battery. My windows work now but my blinkers and angel lights

I would recommend contacting the person who repaired the FRM module and asking them if it was not fully repaired. Because if your angel lights and blinkers aren't working then either the repair guy did not repair it properly or you need to get a replacement one. Id start with contacting the repair person, sometimes they do free second repairs.

What if the frm isn’t working do u still have to disconnect the battery?
I still would remove battery before removing and replacing it
@@philipspov I got mine repaired . I plugged it in again took off the battery first and then hooked everything back and it didn’t work still 😑
Message the person who repaired it and tell them it doesn’t work, and if they don’t know why then maybe you need a new one!😬
@@philipspov they said they tested and everything checked out and said to check. If I have a short somewhere and send it back he will repair for free

Yes but it just drives you won’t get turn signals and your windows don’t work either
does the FRM effect the key fob?
No the key fob is not affected
Does the ebay guy give you the address after you buy the repair?
Yes they will send you a message on eBay with the address to send the FRM module to

How do i dc the Battery?
You open the battery compartment in the back and unplug the negative terminal
How do you install the new module without frying it?
Unplug the battery before taking out the old one and only plug it back in after you install the new module

Putting the 2 connector in the back is a bitch..I'm still fighting it..1 hour into it I'm still trying to figure it out
